Park House Hotel, New York

I wasn't sure what to expect...I had a wedding nearby, and was very pleasantly surprised...It was in a very quiet Orthodox Jewish Neighborhood (very quiet and safe)..Our room was all brand new every thing!! They are completing renovations of all rooms. The room was huge and clean. The help friendly and helpful. In the basement is where the breakfast room was..a lot of the old stuff they're getting ready to pitch were down in the hall there, but the dining room was clean, and the breakfast was great (and kosher).It including just from the bakery pastries (whooo!) and rye bread, fresh and constantly replenished Israeli salad, egg salad, cream cheese, etc. The room rate was very reasonable (for NY)...and it was a 25 minute straight ride into Midtown on the D train (which is less then a block away. But please don't tell anyone..it's our little secret.
