I recently stayed here, and it was an absolute disappointment. The hotel was undergoing renovations, and they had all of the guest entrances locked. This meant walking from the far end of the snowy parking lot to the office door, and then walking back the length of the building to my room (carrying all the luggage). What's even worse is the fact these doors were locked all night -- luckily I was on a ground floor, but I shudder to think what might have happened to the floors above me had there been a fire.
The bathroom floor was dirty, cigarette burns were in the furniture (in a non-smoking room), rust stains were in the sink, and room service dishes were on the floor in the hallway for 24 hours.
I really got the impression that nobody at Shilo cares about your concerns or your stay.
Rather than wasting your time and money on this motel, stay at any of the other clean and affordable hotels in Idaho Falls. They might even leave exit doors unlocked.
