Legacy Inn Richmond Airport, Sandston

These other comments are nothing but lies! Legacy Inn goes directly by policy. Legacy Inn has been very fair to all guests that have stayed there. As far as employees, well... if you do not do your job properly than they address the situation, why would you need to stay here or other nearby motels???? I am just in total shock after reading these reviews. Most of these people just want something for nothing! Traveling from motel to motel for free nights. Or work at motel to motel, to do nothing for something.

I live in the neighborhood behind this dump and I am really disappointed that i bought my house there because of this damn hotel has a million hoodrats playing basket ball in the hotel parking lot and they are sooooo loud i cant go out into my back yard and enjoy it at all. Kids jumping over the fence climbing into my yard, outh there fighting over a grocery basket to play with and better yet walking on the roof of this hotel.

Used to work there, its a total dump, they would rather scrub the walls then paint, they barealy put out new linen, Ill never work there again, Cheap managment, i never stayed there, I would go down the Road, to Econo Lodge and pay the same amount,

what i didnt like about my stay was every single thing my bed was dirty smelled weird my room had a funny smell i mean i ahd to sleep in my car thats how bad it was

Within the last year, a murder has taken place here, and just last night a man was brutally mugged in his hotel room (the door was locked). From a Richmond Airport local, this is a very bad place to stay.

I had gotten a room for two days...thought I might give this place a try...and it was all a single story motel...so I thought that was cool. The first room they gave me hadn't been cleaned...at all. Trash from whoever had gotten the room before me. The second room they gave me was not much better. It was a total disgrace to all the hard-working smaller motel-chains! Very unsafe...I handed in my room key. The attendant was pretty helpful and said that they'd try to get me a refund for the second night since I wasn't staying at all. Such a poor poor place!

The Legacy Inn is a disgusting, dirty, unhygiencic hotel or motel whatever it is. I came to stay at the Legacy on Saturday, March 3rd, 2007. I rented the room from the front desk at 4pm, however I didn't not go in the room as soon as I checked in. BIG MISTAKE!!! I returned to my hotel room around 3 am to go to sleep and to my surprise the room key did not open the door. After about 30 mins of trying to get the door open myself I went back to the front desk to let the attendant know. She gave me another key and I got the door open and to my visual shock there was trash on the floor from the threshold of the door all the way into the bathroom. The beds were not made and there were no clean towels and soap and the trashcans were already full. I went back to the desk to let the attendant know the conditions of the room and she moved me to another room next to that one and I could never open the door so she moved me again to a room 3 doors down. This room was in just as badcondition if not worse. In addition to all the trash like the first room, there were no lightbulbs in the room except in one and that didn't work. By this time it is now 4 am and I was ready to go to sleep so I left my stuff in the chair by the door and slept in my car. I came back to the desk the next afternoon and let the other desk attendant know the condition of my room and I asked when did housekeeping come and she replied monday after 9am. So I slept in my car again Sunday night and came back into the room Monday morning and called out of work so I could wait for housekeeping. I stayed in the room the entire day waiting and no one came. I went to a local friend's house and got my inlaws to see the room and how dirty it was and also called the front desk in front of them so they could witness me telling the front desk person about the room. The front desk person told me there was nothing they could do and for me to come in monday morning and talk to the manager. I missed work on monday to talk to the manager and he was very rude to me. Even though I had complained 3 days in a row about the conditions of my room he refused to move me to a clean room and charged me 3 weekend rates for my three days that I slept in my car. I have taken pictures of the hotel room and they will be posted on this web page for everyone to view as soon as they are developed. Please do not do yourself an injustice and be subjected to these conditions as I have.
