Peppinella Motel, Ballarat

The family budget unit was smaller then a normal room & we were so horrified with how dirty the room was. We took a number of photos & videos of the several dead flies on the window sill; the dead fly found when pulled back one of the bunk beds covers; The washers & towels were decades old & stained with yellow & brown spots plus that there was bloody splatters in 3 places in the bathroom. When I went to ask for new washers I was rudly addressed & told they may look stained but they have been washed. And was told the blood stains were varnish, when the blood was no where near any wood varnish & looked to much like dried blood. I have no idea where they think they can charge $105 a night.

honestly.....we couldn't find anything to dislike about the Peppinella Motel but everything To like.It was clean, friendly quite(didn't hear a truck go passed once) everything you needed. We ordered the bacon & eggs for breakfast it was a good big serve and eggs were cooked just right. Terrific value for money. We have stayed in many hotels in uk & europe so we know what some motels can be like. We told the owner that the name Peppinella is the italian version of the name Joseph but the female version. We had a lovely weekend in Ballarat and the motel went a long way towards making that happen.Keep up the good work.
