Matador Motor Inn, Albury

The only thing one could be postive about was the great attitude of the manageress- only in the job 3 weeks, always helpful even after notifying her of yet another major problem. Negative- occupied a room on 3 occassions over the last 4 years on the same weekend each year (missed last year). Heated pool- no (never heated) Sauna - no (never worked) Spa was ok until wrecked by unsupervised youngsters. Tumble dryer - put your wet towel/bathers in it to dry them- after 150.minutes- time increased by teenagers- clothes same as when they went in- heating element in dryer does not work. Light -above head of bed did not work- took 4 days be be fixed. NO RESTAURANT- you must eat out. In short, for what there is, the motel is way over priced. P.S TRY THE ASTOR MOTEL JUST UP THE ROAD - it does not look much from the outside,but we tried eating there Monday night and had a look at one of their rooms all PLUS PLUS PLUS- GREAT T bone $6.95 and 400g rump steak $10. Next year!!
