Worst Motel Ever!!!!
By Terri, 05/15/09
My sister and I only stayed one night during the Tulip Festival. . .OMG! This has got to be the dirtiest place we have ever stayed! We gave serious consideration to sleeping in the car. Had to move from first room as "housekeeping was out of lightbulbs" and the place was dark as a dungeon. Moved to second room. . .probably would have been better without the lightbults. . .no hairdryer, no coffee pot, no ironing board & iron. The floor was so filthy we wouldn't set foot on it without shoes. Air conditioner was disgustingly dirty, noisy and inefficient. The two positive reviews are a joke. . .this place is a health hazard!

Filthy Hotel !!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/07
The room smelled like piss and mold mixed together.. The carpet was filthy .. The sheets had spots all over them .. We killed more than 5 huge spiders .. They don’t have room service .. The bathtub and shower curtain were moldy black and disgusting. The toilet was broke and spraying water everywhere .. the sink was clogged . We had no where else to stay .. so we had to stay there .. Bought disinfectant spray, and sprayed the entire place .. Woke up with multiple spider bites .. Me and my boyfriend both got really sick .. And left the place forever …

DISGUSTING
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/07
This was without a doubt the most disgusting place I have EVER been in. There was actually splattered beer on the walls and a hole in the door where the beer bottle hit. And they didn't even bother to pick up all the glass! Filthy, disgusting..and that's being nice about it!

Warning--Do Not Stay Here!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/09/07
I'm a road warrior who works for UPS. I have a customer in the Hamilton area and booked a visit during Tulip Festival. All of the hotels were booked besides this one. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES THEY POST!! This place is an absolute dump and health hazard. I laughed at the "positive"comments obviously posted by the owner of this place. I average 250 nights a year on the road and NEVER have I came across a place like this. I've sent an email to America's Best Inn but will likely not get a response. Everyone who posted a negative comment was not lying. This place offers nothing besides filthy rooms and some type of disease you get to take home with you.

Worst motel ever!
By Ronald, 06/27/06
Room was not handicap accessible as promised. Wheelchair would not fit thru the door. Impossible to use a walker without moving furniture. Walker would not fit into the bathroom. All lightbulbs were 40 watts or less. One fixture did not work.Walls needed painting. No heat for 2 of 4 nights. 1 towel and 1 washcloth for 2 people. No stopper for the sink. Toilet became inoperative twice. One day the room was not serviced and the owner had left the premises. No stopper for the vanity sink. Air conditioner mounted on wall above vanity. Totally inaccesible. No restaurant in motel as advertised. Had to walk outside in the rain to the office to obtain a fresh roll of toilet tissue.

The worst ever!!!!!
By Morgan, 04/28/06
My boyfriend and I traveled for a weekend getaway. The hotel looked nice on-line but was disgusting in person. We booked two nights, stayed one. The first night it was too late and dark to see anything. The next morning I requested new sheets for our bed, the bottom sheet was an actual sheet that would not stay down, and we left to go downtown. Got back at 3pm, 5 hours later, and the bed was stripped, no sheets, our pillows thrown on the floor. Mattress was stained. When we called for the sheets, the woman handed them to us and left. Like we wanted to put sheets on during our vacation!!!! The bottom of the bed was water damaged and didn't look like it was taken care of. (Was not seen until top covers removed.) We went to go demand a refund for that night, we were not happy and not staying there. The one and only manager was gone and did not come back for more than an hour. I had to talk to him over the phone! Would not give our money back, offered 10% off and a different room. He then proceeded to call us stupid!!! quote "I would feel pretty dumb to if I didn't get in the office before the 11am check out for a refund." Do not, I repeat, DO NOT EVER stay here. Went down the road and stayed at the Comfort Inn.

VERY DISAPPOINTED
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/10/05
Hotel room was dirty, bathroom smelled of urine (bought lysol and cleaned ourselves), people next door bought pillows and sheets for their room, couldn't find other hotel at so little notice. Stay was for two days, went to tulip festival Saturday morning and came back to a room that hadn't been cleaned. cleaning woman (tammy) stated she didn't get to our room (6:30pm)yet. We paid cash for the one night and left for home. The man (I assume the owner) Spoke very poor english, refused to give us a receipt for our money, Stating something about the computer. The cost of the room was 79.95 plus tax.

Don't go there
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/04
This place is a total dump, from the rotting stairs leading up to the second floor to the vintage 1970s carpeting in the room, We didn't even stay. I was more than happy to toss away the $58.00 we paid for the room and head down the street to the Holiday Inn. I always like to give local businesses my money, but this was one time I was glad the corporate giant down the street had a room for $115.00.
