L & M Motel, Savanna

When planning a motorcycle trip to enjoy the fall colors along the Mississippi, I stumbled onto this place via the internet. The reviews were great and says it's a biker's must stay. We rode from south central Iowa to Savanna with 3 other couples. It is the perfect place to stay; especially for bikers. You will never find more hospitality anywhere! Lois and son Curtis go over the top in making you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door right down to hugs when they send you on your way. Maps and directions to scenic places; shuffle service in the evening so you don't have to ride after dark; recommendations for excellent places to eat. Loved, loved, love it. Last year like every year my best friend and I headed to Savanna for our birthday celebration weekend, we usually camp but this time chose L&M motel as I happen to be pregnant on this trip, anyways when Lois and her crew found out it was our birthdays they brought cake and balloons, and birthday wine it was amazing they made us feel like part of the family, our beloved pups are always welcome and they are always super friendly, and If u plan on havin a few drinks they offer taxi service for little or nothin in to town, they pick u up after last call. We will always stay at L&M. Actually we are headed back in just a few weeks yey! Savanna and thanks Lois and everyone at L&M!!!!

This lady knows how to WOW her customers! And her side kicks, Goldie, Max and can't forget Gary, are the top of the line for making you feel like you are the most important person in town! They are there to greet you and send you off! More then a five star place! Give Lois a call and find out all they have to offer you! This will definitely be an annual trip (if not more) and each time we hope new friends can join us to share the experience! Lois, I'm sure your town is proud to have your business "wow-factor" ideas! This motel is very clean and well taken care of. Thank you Lois for directing us to a fantastic dinner while we were in town. I would recommend staying here. The rooms are all a different theme and the price is right. We had our dogs and they are pet friendly! It is a very nice place to stay.

Our whole group (30+ of us), were all treated like family at the L & M Motel. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was not just a place to sleep for two nights, but that we were safe and that all of our needs were met. Their hard work and family like atmosphere was greatly appreciated. We have already made our reservations to return next year because of this hospitality and the many enjoyable attractions associated in and around the Savanna area.
