Disappointing stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/05
I found the Skyline Inn on the internet when I was planning a trip to SLC. Although in the pictures it looked like an older building, it looked clean and respectable, and it was in a great location.
When my husband and I arrived it was not at all what we expected. It looked fairly run down, and when we went to bed that night, (we had a room with two queen beds) one of the beds looked like the sheets hadn't actually been changed, and we were afraid to even touch anything after that.
What really concerned us were the night activities. We came back late that night, and as we were parking, a group of two or three men and one woman were taking cameras and video equipment up to a room. There were all sorts of people coming and going all night to that room, but when we left early the next morning they were all gone - the parking lot was virtually empty. One can only imagine what goes on at the Skyline Inn at night. I sure didn't feel comfortable being there.
Although the Skyline Inn is on a main street, its access and parking lot are somewhat secluded. If things like this concern you, then I caution you about staying at the Skyline Inn.
