Baileys Harbor Yacht Club Resort, Baileys Harbor

BHYC is a great value. The pictures on the website don't do the place justice! We had a 2 bed/2 bath suite. It was incredibly clean and well maintained. We had a full kitchen and was surprised to see the dish washer too!Each room has a table and chairs to go outside and enjoy the summer. The staff is very helpful and commons areas were always clean and well stocked (pool towels, etc.) They have wireless internet access in the lobby with a couple of computers there you can use for free. The resort is off the beaten path, but it is only a short drive to all the crazy tourist places. We enjoyed charter fishing that docks right at the resort. We love BHYC!

This is a great place tucked in about a mile and a half down Ridges Road (a rustic road that runs along the lake with birch trees all around you). It's surrounded by Tuff's Nature Sanctuary, yet it has it's own marina a beautiful indoor and out door pool, sauna, and the nicest cleanest hot tubs in the main lodge. We stayed in room 223, and it was a beautifully decorated studio with a large balcony and a great view of the lake. This room is great because even though it has a wonderful lake view, its set back a little bit and you also have a view of the outdoor pool, so they don't call it a lake that gets you a better rate. I would highly recommend this lodge because of its location, value, service, and all around great feeling you will get from a stay there.
