Greenhill House, Coleraine

Highly recommended. I booked by telephone for a two night stay having found the web page through an internet search.

On arrival Mrs Heggarty, the proprietor, made us very welcome offering tea and home made cakes. The room was small but entirely suitable and immaculately clean. What was particularly impressive was the high level of amenities provided. I have stayed in five star hotels less well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the lavish supply of toiletries - three different types of shampoo and not in sachets but in bottles - and also sweets, fruits, biscuits, mineral water and much more.

Mrs Heggarty was full of useful local knowledge and her recommendations for dinner were excellent with full directions given. Breakfasts were wonderful and very filling! She was also very keen to ensure that all our needs were met without being intrusive. Her guest book reads like "Who's who" and makes for fascinating reading.

The whole place is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and centrally located for the North Antrim Coast, Giants Causeway and other underrated Northern Ireland attractions. There is adequate car parking and the house is situated in a very quiet environment yet close to Coleraine.
