Novotel Suva Lami Bay, Suva

Time you updated your web site! Hotel has so much going for it. We stay here everytime we are in Suva (4-5 times a year.) Staff are always very friendly. Restaurant leaves a lot to be desired- very expensive and the food reseived is sometimes.....surprising) What you order is not always what you think you are going to get)! Situation is glorious and rooms although small are well appointed and very clean. With a little more effort this hotel could be perfect.So come on new owners make it happen it wouldn't take much.

Bula All, Just a short note to let everybody know that the Tradewinds Hotel has been sold and I represent Accor Hotels & the new owners as the General Manager. We are about to undergo a $5.5M refurbishment of the hotel and I look forward to welcoming you all back over the coming months. Service is terrible. To start off with i booked a ocean view room but got a garden view. It was really a mud view, couldn't find a garden! Then the receptionist was as rude as possible! The cleaning lady was more polite! Mini bar wasn't even stocked. There is no place to eat if you get hungry outside the limited opening hours of the resturants. Room service doesn't even start until after 10pm! Bartender overcharged me for the drinks and i had to wait 10 minutes before he even came over even though he wasn't doing anything! The TV had no remote and i saw the same movie 4 times on the inhouse movie channel! Please people, spend a few dollaes more and save yourself the misfortune of going to this deadbeat place! i think this place is just so awesome. because the servisce is so nice and every where i go its so clean and ther is no cloged toilets

The Tradewinds is a great place to stay if you have business at the Convention Centre or with the fishing industry, or just want a good place for a reasonable cost - as long as you allow for having to travel 10km to get to town. I once had my credit card ripped off here - somebody ran off 13 duplicate impressions when I paid my bill and managed to cash them in at different shops down the coast - stupid because it was immediately obvious when I got my credit card statement, and I was quickly reimbursed. I've had no trouble for the last few years. Oh, and I was once checked into a room which had someone already occupying it. They were more surprised than I was though!

nothing, everything was fabulous. Lusiana coordinated our Wedding and made it an experience we will never forget. She was a great host and the staff was very caring. Mr & Mrs Ali

A little out of the way, but once you get the hang of riding the big blue school bus in and out of downtown it's no big deal. Still, it makes it a little hard to pop out at night for a chilled Fiji Beer. The rooms are pleasant and the pool is lovely, and the view out to jungle islands just across the water is something straight out of Robinson Crusoe.

I liked every aspect of this hotel... I highly recomend this hotel to anyone who enjoies life as it should be. the places & people there are so so cool. & its a great place for families to chill out and relax.
