Cocconed at the Maurya
The service was really excellent, gracious and professional, from the airport pickup, the welcome and handling small requests. As this was my first trip to India, the service was a relief and most appreciated
My room was smallish, but completely redone...you could still smell the fresh paint. The hotel is very secure and the rooms are quiet.
I could not get a reservation at Bukara, but ate in their other white table cloth restaurant. Service was highly refined and the dishes were expertly prepared.
The location is OK. The positive is its near the airports..domestic and international. It's in a nicer part of town. On the negative, there is nothing near the hotel, nor can you take a stroll. On the other hand, I am not sure I would have wanted to stay closer to where "the action is" as it is so overwhelming to the senses.
Overall, this is a most excellent property. Those who whine about it must be...whiners! Highly recommended.
