Club Sun N' Sand Beach Resort, Mombasa

We loved this hotel. The best thing about it was the amazing staff. The room was a bit of a let down after the public areas but on our next visit we upgraded and the room was lovely. The food was fab, the entertainment team great and most of all to my husband's amazment, I ventured out of the hotel grounds and met some locals who we still keep in touch with. the place was amazing the entertainment the food the only bad bit was that when i went to get my food there was a flie on my plate deadf and a flies on the open food. but other wise it was spectacular. the pools were relaxing and the swim up bar was fantastic the view of the sea and how close i was was great and i cant wait to go again also it was close to a village which in when i return i will be building a toilet thank you for the great stay and i cant wait to come back yeaahhh xx

continuing from last review.took hundreds of photos showed them to a dozen friends got them making enquiries. only been back in uk 3 months missing country and staff a lot.recommend sunnsand anytime. Jmi&Brian from england.

Loved the entertainment,staff were very friendly&helpful Tabitha especially (what an extraordinary woman she is) safari was value for money, guide(abel) was very knowledgeable.Mombasa airport not so good too hot&humid could do with A/C.Security a pain.Africa really got to my son & myself,considering organising for more of us to go this year.

My stay at the Sun N Sand beach resort would not have been such an Amazing experience if it was not for certain members of the Entertainment/Animation Team. 3 particular members made such a difference (Bonnie, Moses and Fondo). They motivated us to come try out sports and included us in activities. They helped us overcome shyness and show off our skills on the dance floor. Never have I seen such a hard working team before. Such a great experience. The staff at the hotel is extremely hard working and they always have a smile on their faces. They greeted you everyday and even took the time to get to know you. All in all, my stay at Sun N Sand was one of the most rewarding and gratifying experiences of my life. I cannot wait to go back again!

I spent a week at sun and sand club with my family,all inclusive and everything was great. The people what work der wud do anything for you and their really helpfull and kind. My dad had a wedding der and it was superb went on a boat so ma dad cud get married. the food was great and to suit any taste The Hotel Was Clean And you got a great view as well the night life was great aswell wen der did dancers && the music was good aswell i wud love to go bk any time && Loved every bit ov it

I spent 2 weeks in AUG 08 with ma family at the hotel all inclusive and everything about the hotel was superb.You never or probably will never get this kind of service in Europe.I enjoyed every bit in KENYA and how friendly the people are.From the airport transfer to the hotel,the people,entertainment, hospitality,food, Safari and saw the big five,it was worth the visit and cant wait to go back.If u have never been to Kenya thats one place you would not like to miss.MOMBASA RAHA (MOMBASA FUN).I would recommend this hotel for both honey mooners and family. Wow, time flies. It's been over 7 years since I was last at this resort hotel but I can remember it like it was just yesterday. I stayed there for about a week, and honestly I've had the best time of my life there! Before coming here, I went on several safaris all over southern Kenya and this was the a great place to wind down after all that excitement. There were so many activities to do. In the morning, we participated in water aerobics which was a lot of fun. There are a few pools there, two of the pools are connected by a little pool river. Along the pool river, there are two small slides which were a lot of fun for me. In the afternoon around dinner time, there were a few fun activities. The DJ played great music. There's a really nice animal mural on the wall. I'm not sure if it's still there, like I said it's been seven years. I remember one of the animals was a mandrill that looked like Rafiki from the Lion King playing drums. One of the people on the beach took us to look at the coral reef which was really nice. The water in the Indian Ocean was very beautiful. No complaints. You have to remember that this is not Europe or America, and I think it's supposed to be a different experience. There are millions in the country that would be happy to have just a fraction of what Club Sun N Sand has. In conclusion, going to Club Sun N Sand was one of the best experiences of my life. Great people, good rooms, great atmosphere, I really felt like I was in paradise. (I was there in late August 2000 but for some reason Yahoo! doesn't display years before 2003)

i loved everything about it, the beach boys were lovely, the hotel was clean, the little pub just outside the hotel was fab we spent half our time there playing pool with the locals
