In the heart of Valletta, next to the Office of Prime Minister, the hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and the food in the basement pizzeria was amazing.

BEWARE BED BUGS

I stayed here for one evening in sept 2006. The hotel seems very nice but after one night here, I flew back to London to discover very itchy welts all over my body. I soon worked out these were the result of bed bugs. There were hundreds of itchy welts all over my body - hideous. I called the hotel to complain. The receptionist transferred me to a Manager, who never bothered to answer the phone. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS!

One week was not enough!

I just returned from one week's holiday in the Hotel Castille, with my older sister and elderly mother. We could not have been more delighted with all aspects of our stay. Our superb meals were enjoyed in the rooftop restaurant each evening, complemented by the stunning views across Grand Harbour. Kind attention was always paid to my mother, a wheelchair user and the perfect location made sightseeing most convenient. Our room was comfortable and tastefully furnished, meeting our every requirement. We fully recommend the Hotel Castille to all prosective holiday-makers to Valletta and we will undoubtedly have no hesitation in making it our first choice of accommodation on our next visit.
