Enjoyed everything about the stay: the view, the staff, the amenities, the location in downtown Atlanta...Highly Recommend

Checked in this hotel and very odd, the front desk representative told me that she cannot move me to any other room and that there is a note from the executive stating just that. HUH?! I was just checking in and didn't asked to be moved. My assigned room is supposedly "locked" and there is a note from a Marriott executive stating that I cannot be moved. Is my room bugged?! Why? I sure would like to know what's up! Makes you wonder! If I find something, Marriott watch out...lawsuit may be upon you!

I loved the Mariott Marquis. The kids loved it. We are from a small town and we never get to the Big City very often. All of the people there were helpful and told us how to get to great shopping, The Varsity and one attendant showed us how to get to Marta fast so we can get to the Braves game. The kids love the elevators, but I could not stand the height. I was a great experience and I felt safe there. There was a great view of the City. Also, my husband and I enjoy relaxing in the bar while the kids were at the pool. The location of the Mariott was just in the right spot. We never moved our vehicle. We were also able to walk to the Hard Rock Cafe which the kids enjoyed a lot. I loved the decor of the Mariott, the room was nice and clean and they honored my request by not placing us on the top floor. It was a great vacation.

This is a 5 star hotel. This is the nicest hotel I have ever been to outside of my home state. The hotel has 28 floors and the elevator talks. It is also the fastest elevator that I have ever rode on. I ran around the track that surrounds the pool. People can swim at night at this hotel. The rooms were so nice and clean. I would like to stay there again.

but too expensive on the other hand, it was worth the money spent. service was the best, their food was fabulous and the room was extremely comfortable. the location was poor, i mean no nearby torist attractions, and easily accesable malls.

I loved everything about this hotel! We have stayed in Marriots before but this one tops them all! We cant wait to go back! It was so romantic, everything about the hotel was! We loved it!

The views from this hotel were amazing. Our room was on the 40th floor and had an incredible view looking out onto the city. What was even more amazing was that the atrium goes from the lobby all the way to the top floor. We took the elevator to the top floor and looked over the railing and it looked like looking into the grand canyon trying to see the lobby floor! The only disappointment was that I thought the rooms were average. We expected a little more extravagance regarding the bed and decor.
