The rooms were very attractive and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I give thanks to Diana is Lost & Found. My 91 year old mother left one of her bags. I called and Diana found it within a few miniutes. The bag was shipped and my mother received it the following day. We had a great stay.

Checked in this hotel and very odd, the front desk representative told me that she cannot move me to any other room and that there is a note from the executive stating just that. HUH?! I was just checking in and didn't asked to be moved. My assigned room is supposedly "locked" and there is a note from a Marriott executive stating that I cannot be moved. Is my room bugged?! Why? I sure would like to know what's up! Makes you wonder! If I find something, Marriott watch out...lawsuit may be upon you!

Pros: Clean Modern Lively Big rooms Nice bathrooms beautiful fitness facility hotel connected to mall Cons: *$13 internet charge in 2011?? Really? *Slow service (took two hours for an employee to bring two sheets to my room) *I was hungry at 1am and asked the receptionist if there was a snack machine and she looked at me like i was from Mars and rudely answered no...haven't you heard of a snack machine b*tch?! NOWHERE to get food in the middle of the night * The area around the hotel SUCKS, homeless people chill all around the hotel *Too expensive not to have free internet and complimentary breakfast

They specifically told us over the phone that they had parking for our oversize van - just a conversion van needing 8 foot clearance. When we got there they said it wouldn't fit in their garage, sorry. As if they don't know, all the surface lots have remove by 6:00 AM policies or get the boot - so I had to drive to the Baytown Hotel (next time stay there!) several blocks away and run the gauntlet of bums and beggars to get back to the hotel at 10:00 PM. Downtown Atlanta is dangerous at night - no police in sight.

This hotel was gorgeous and the staff was very helpful. No one we met was rude. The room we had was a little smaller than I expected (looking at the size of the hotel- 40+ floors), but the bed was super comfortable and the room had a big flat screen TV. Very quiet, too. I would recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to walk to downtown attractions such as World of Coca Cola, Olympic park, and the aquarium.

Beautiful! Great service! Friendly and helpful! Walking distance to attractions. Big, comfy bed with lots of pillows!

It was the closet hotel to my buiesness anD it was great

Even though the website and confirmation email LEAD you to believe that there is free internet in the public lobby area, there is $6.95 charge for it. IN THE LOBBY! When I called to complain, I got nowhere-she was completely unconcerned. Poor business practice.

I went with my husband for a conference and we've stayed there before. We've LOVED every Marriott we've ever stayed in. This one is beautiful and all the staff was extremely friendly. In the 4 days there we ate only one meal outside of the hotel because you can find anything you want without leaving. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows weren't the usual hotel "pancake" pillows where you need 3 to equal one. The Marquis is very convenient to many sites in Atlanta...within walking distance.

Me and my husband checked in around 3am on a friday morning. The lady at the check out quickly charged us for parking and the room. she gave us the room key.me and my husband went to grab food to eat and return to the hotel.Went inside the room it had a 1990's model t.v the furniture was old..it was terrible. my husband called the front desk to ask for check out time which was never told too us. The operator said 12pm of course we figured it would be the following day! she informed us rudely that it was for the same day ! that means we had to be gone in 8 hours and four of which we were gonna sleep...they lady was extremly rude stating there was nothing we could do but pay 178$ again..so she told us if we had of came an hour later it would have been considered the next day even though we got there at 3am she argued wit me that it was thursday night and not friday morning. i asked for the manager who was way to friendly with the front dest clerk kissing her on the forthead and rapping his arms around her while me and my husband demand to checkout so we can go to another hotel. he resolved the problem by re checking us back in and letting us stay to the following day. I have better experiences at the courtyard than this its horrible !!!! dont go here..it overated
