Knights Inn Monroe, Monroe

The room and staff were great. All my needs were met. Would recommend this hotel.

Traveling workers, especially those working near by power plants, should avoid staying at the Knights Inn. I have travelled all over the United States, and I have never been treated so poorly anywhere else in the country. The cleaning crew is loud and obnoxious. I was working night shift, and I was woken up several times a week by the housekeeping crew. They do this INTENTIONALLY!!! I put myself on a "do not disturb" list, and hung the sign on the door, but the housekeeping staff would bother me anyway. Complaining to the manager doesn't help. She is just as bad. Much of the disruption is done on her say so. She will also call the rooms directly and wake up the guests while they are sleeping. This happens alot. I am not the only one who has had to put up with this. This complaint was take up the ladder to the district manager. HE DOESN'T CARE!!! It seems that the only way to solve the problem is to not stay there. It's too bad that this sight won't let me post pictures. Someone had kicked in the front door to the room I was staying in; But that happened before I got there. Wheather you are working in the area, or just vacationing, stay clear of the Knights Inn. There are other places to stay.

Holes in the walls, awful stench. There was a fatty in the rrom next to us. We could hear him on the toilet and snoring in bed. The service was awful. The peeps at front desk smelled like alcohol.
