Wagon Wheel Motel, Oxnard

I am thinking about writing a book about the Wagon Wheel. I fell in love with it when we were in Oxnard a couple months back. It really must have been something in its day. Please if you can help me out with more information I would greatly appreciate it. I am very interested in using it in my book and would be grateful for any information you could supply. Wagon Wheel Motor Inn was a piece of history. It was always immaculately clean, thanks to Aggie and her crew. I am talking about 1980-1982. We had Mike Farrell (from 'Mash') stay with us and I was the proud Asst. Mgr.. We had oil crews from the Gulf stay with us and SeaBee's for Maintenance. Mr. Smith loved this property, I think more than any other. Marge & Gino~ I miss you! Sabrina
