Capitol Inn And Suites, Pierre

Stayed here because of the advertised Wi-Fi internet access. Yeah right, its a joke. You will spend more time searching for a signal than surfing the internet and once you're connected good luck, it’s extremely slow and unreliable. You will get disconnected several times an hour while the network is "identifying". Told management about this and they said it was my computer. Spoke with several other guests and they report the same problem and were also told it was their computer not the network. I also contacted a local computer/network shop and they told me they have been getting complaints about the Capitol Inn's Internet network since it was installed but management will not spend the money to improve the network. Don’t stay here if the free Wi-Fi is a reason that attracted you. Also dealt with "dirty" linens that were placed in my room night after night with dirt and stains on them. Come on, if a "white" towel can no longer be cleaned and be "white" after laundry then quit placing it in guests rooms!! Also if you plan on getting a full nights rest think again. In the three weeks that I stayed here the local police were here dealing with drunks, fights, and domestics FIVE times. That’s right FIVE times in three weeks!! Several nights a week I was woken anytime between midnight and 4 am by intoxicated people, fights, or a domestic disturbance. There are other places in Pierre that will give you better, cleaner service for around the same price range!!

Cockroach on my husband's duffle bag and crusty, squished mosquitos on the wall that nobody had ever bothered to wipe off. The non-smoking room spelled of smoke. In the morning we went to check out the "hot" breakfast and decided we would rather starve than eat what was provided. A suite is simply 2 rooms with the adjoining wall busted out. The only nice thing about the hotel was the young man working the front desk who checked us in.

The State Referee Committee put us up here for State Cup. I had read reviews & was quite skeptical. It wasn't as bad as it could have been but it definitely wasn't the Ramkota. There wasn't any shampoo provided. I realized this after I jumped in the shower at 6 a.m. so I had to steal some of my roommates & tell her afterward. Breakfast is terrible. Coffee is the only beverage provided. There are vending machines where you can pay $1.25 for juice. I will say the room was clean. We made sure we always took anything of value with us so we didn't worry about anything being stolen. Definitely heard the kids running around upstairs which kept me up until midnight. Front desk staff was hit or miss. The one lady looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about shampoo. However, the young man who checked me out was very nice. Also, the shower leaked as there was a good 1/2" gap on the side of the door. Also, the bottom of the shower was warped so it didn't drain the best.

LIKED NOTHING--MANAGEMENT WOULD NOT FIX ANYTHING FOR EXTENDED STAY GUESTS--ALL EVENTUALLY LEFT-- BROKEN BED AND TV---WORN OUT CARPET---BROKEN COUCH--

I was leary about staying here because of what people had told me about the place so I checked the reviews and most weren't bad. Our room was small but clean, updated and quiet. Was not impressed with the breakfast, basically toast and rolls, very small. But what disappointed me most is after we left, my daughter said she had put her blanket and pillow pet in the drawer and forget to get them out. We hadn't left Pierre yet so I immediately called the hotel and they said there was a bag there with our room number on it but when we went back to pick it up, the blanket was there but not the pillow pet; kinda surprised the housekeeper would bother turning in one and not the other, an no one else had been in the room yet. We contacted the office several times and they supposedly talked to the housekeeper but said that only the blanket was found. I guess someone else felt their child needed it more than mine. So out of our experience we just ended up with a very disappointed child!

VeryComfortable bed!! Small but clean, shower, no tub. Good for one nght stay but too small for extended stay. Breakfast poor, eat at McDonalds. Good room for the money.

I love the motel! I have stayed there three times a year for many years. I have found the rooms clean and comfortable. The staff is so friendly and always seem to know you. Which is a surprise,( thinking about how many peoplle must go through there.) I have had some computer issues there. And it was my computer. They have went WAY over the top to help me. Thank you Ron and Noume. I appreciate what you have done for me! I would not even consider staying anywhere else! Thank you }.Capitol Inn. And if word of mouth is worth anything, you have it all! We have been coming to Pierre and staying at this motel for over 7 years this summer. Every year you can see the progress and upkeep on the property and there is always something new for the customers. This time when we stayed, it was very delightful to find that swimming pool area had a complete face lift and pool itself totally renovated! My kids loved it! Again in the morning, we were greeted by Hot breakfast; buscuit and gravy and waffles along with few other brand new items. While all this was extra for us and not expected, the rates surprisingly were still the same as last 3 years! Way to go Capitol Inn team! We will surely be back next year!

stayed here for work with several coworkers in one day we had $300 stolen from a suitcase in one room. A gun and a few bucks stolen from another room all while we were at lunch. also both rooms had requested no service that day however we were both deffinatly visited by the housekeeper!!!

We stayed two nights when we moved my grandson to Pierre and found Capital Inn & Suites to be very clean and comfortable.The staff was helpful and friendly.The rate was very reasonable.What impressed me the most however, was the bed. I suffer from back and neck problems and the bed there has to be the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.I have tried to find the same bed to purchase for my home but have not had any luck.
