Weekend Getaway
By Debbie Wampler, 4/6/10
We loved this place. The mood was wonderful and restful. Just what we needed after a long winter. The staff are the best and the in room massage was wonderful. The cruise was great and evenings on the deck were romantic. If you need a place to get away from the rat race and rest this is it. We are planning at least 2 more weekends visits in the year. Don't go here if you require something to do every minute of the day. This is a place to grow your marriage and make memories with your spouse.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast
By Steve and Kathy, 9/23/09
This is off the beaten path, but is in a beautiful setting -- lake and mountains. Rooms are well furnished. We were in the Song of the South Suite, which was a little small for the size of the bed, but very nice nonetheless. The staff could not have been more friendly, and the breakfast and candlelight dessert were terrific. Sunset cruise was beautiful and interesting. Captain Roger was very engaging and infomative. The hotel seems to be in very good condition. This is an excellent value for the money. We are from California and if we ever find ourselves in this part of the country again, we would not hesitate to stay here. Highly recommended.

Perfect Summer Getaway
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/21/07
We loved Mountain Harbor Inn. Everything about our stay was a delight. The Inn is located on the lake with the Smoky Mountains in the background. The Inn has wonderful views. They have boat rentals of all kinds and we took advantage of an afternoon on the lake and it was a wonderful time. We were celebrating our anniversary so the candlelight dessert was an extra special treat that was included in our package. This Inn has obviously been cared for in everyway and is impressive and luxurious. We appreciated the friendly staff also. Definitely for an anniversary getaway this would be a perfect place!

Wonderful Anniversary Getaway
By Lisa, 8/21/07
My husband and I stayed at Mountain Harbor Inn, in Dandridge, TN the first week in August. It was a surprise trip for our anniversary. The Inn was an absolutely perfect choice for a few days of romantic getaway. When we arrived we were greeted by a perfectly peaceful and beautiful view of the lake and the mountains, with the dock and boats below, it was an incredible scene. As we checked in, we commented on how professional the staff was along with just plain friendly, seeming happy to greet us and accommodate us in everyway. Our room/condo was SPECTACULAR. These rooms are decorated to the 10's with wonderfully huge comfortable beds and a TV tucked away just in case you need a movie fix while relaxing. Our condo had a full kitchen, full living room and was more spacious than any we had stayed in. Cleaned to perfect detail, my husband had trouble getting me to leave!! We were greeted with cold Mountain Harbor Spring water which was welcome on the 100 degree day. Their breakfasts, which are included, are wonderful, including eveything you may want, eggs, pancakes, meats, cereals, juices and more. All hot and delcious or cold and fresh. Simply a delightful breakfast. Each evening they served a candlelight dessert that was incredible. Sunset cruises are offered for your enjoyment each evening around 7:30 and should not be missed as the trip around the lake was delightful and educational. Dandridge is a lovely old historical town that we enjoyed. What a surprise to find our most perfect romantic getaway ever at Mountain Harbor Inn. We highly highly recommend this as a stay for anyone, romance or not! Friendly, clean, luxury acoomoodations we will surely visit again very soon

Forget It!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/19/07
The staff and management are rude and unwilling to make any minor adustments to accomodate their guests. They boast about their expensive and imported furnishings and act as though the place is a museum; look--don't sit or walk on the pricey floor in the lobby. Very overpriced; nothing to do.

27th Wedding Anniversary
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/8/06
We stayed in the Elvis Presley Suite. It was so neat. Wonderful customer service! Pontoon boat ride in the evening and candlelite dessert for the night was included in the package. Then in the morning a wonderful breakfast was included too. You really don't have to leave the place because it is such a peaceful place to be. I would recommend this to you especially if you are celebrating something special. The place was very clean. I would love to go back sometime.

Great Hotel
By Cartman, 7/14/06
I just stayed here for my Honeymoon (in the Lincoln Penthouse Condo); and, wow, was I impressed. All of the staff are top notch, friendly, and helpful. And the view out onto the lake is simply incredible. I can't vouch for the other suites; but the Lincoln was extra nice / great, with my favorite feature being the semi-private porch / hot tub (only shared with one other condo, which was vacant the week I was there). Breakfast is absolutely great (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc...) as is the desert after the sunset boat ride (cheesecake, brownie ala mode, or vanilla ice cream). The hotel's a little bit pricy, so try to take advantage of their first-time guest rate if you can. Would I go back? In a heartbeat. I can't think of a better, romantic hotel to go to.

A little jewel!!!!
This is a beautiful place, their website does not do justice. Rooms are beautiful, food was beyond wonderful, scenery was beautiful. Just can't say enough how great this place is. Out of the traffic, but well worth the little drive.

a must stay when in
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/17/05
this is a beautiful place and I will look forward to returning. This place is just waiting to be discovered. It would be nice to have a restaurant open to the public, but at this time they only cater to special events. I drove a few short miles for dinner but only needed one meal out because of the full course breakfast served.
