Double J Hotel, Kalispell

This hotel was so nasty. The carpets are stained, bath tub was black with dirt, and the room smelled horrible. As soon as my family and I got there, we started calling other hotels to fins a different room, but no luck. The first room they put us in had no refrigerator or microwave, as advertised. Their response to that was that we didn't request it so we didn't get it. We didn't request toilet paper either, but we got it....duh! They then moved us to another room with refrigerator and microwave. It was just as filthy as the first one. We cut our trip a day short because we couldn't sleep their one more night. We even bought Febreeze to cover up the smell. While we were packing, I looked under covers and blankets to make sure kids didn't forget anything and on the sheets that my kids were sleeping on was what looked to be a menstrual blood stain. I have never been so disgusted in my entire life. There are plenty of nice places to stay in that area. This is not one of them.

This is the nicest of the Choice Hotels I've stayed at in Montana. Nice looking building with a Northwest flavor that is carried into the rooms. BIG rooms. Clean and well-decorated. The jacuzzis (yes, 2) were awesome. The pool was nice too, but it was outdoors, which doesn't work so well in northwest Montana. I was initially concerned by the fact that the hotel was located near a small airport, but I think the rooms are well-insulated, cuz I never had any problem with airplane noise. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends. Great town, too.

We stayed here this summer and found the hotel under remodeling. We were greated by a nice front desk staff, we were suprised when we walked in our room to find a large TV and microwave and fridge, they also had a welcome basket full of goodies. You cannot beat the price of this property and the casino is beautiful. STAY, STAY, STAY we say.
