A Secluded Getaway
By DrYoung, 06/23/09
What a great place for couples! This hotel is located basically in old town Scottsdale near the middle of everything, where the day and night life jives. Plenty of selections of restaurants, art galleries, wine bars, and night clubs. Oh, not to mention one of the largest shopping malls in the Phx Metro, Scottsdale Fashion Square. The hotel itself is on a large golf course for all the golf lovers, the pool area is clean, beautifually designed and great as well for familys. Lots of beautiful people sun bathing and swimming. And, they offer pool aerobic classes in the AM, too. The restaurants has wide variety of foods you can order, the hotel is situated right in the Camelback Mountain where you can walk out to a hiking trail or a beautiful view of desert rock wall where wild life thrives just outside. The rooms are HUGE and the room services and turn down service is awesome! You truly feel like you're on a luxury vacation here. I was very impressed with the romantic atmosphere and all the things going on around the hotel.

ANTICIPATING ON GOING BACK!
By AMIEE J, 05/21/09
I LOVE THIS HOTEL. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWSOME AND THE HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE BATHROOM WAS NICE. IT HAD A WALK-IN SHOWER AND A NICE SIZE TUB. THERE WERE 3 POOLS WITH CLEAR BLUE WATER. MY BOYFRIEND AND I ALSO HAD MASSAGES DONE THERE, IT'S A MUST. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING HERE AND I WILL BE GOING BACK.

This place has changed ....and not in a good way.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/11/09
Construction, kids in the 'relaxation' pool, it takes forever to get a concierge to answer the phone, ice cream parlor/restaurant closes too early, Windows on the Green restaurant closed indefinitely? Girl on the phone said 'due to lack of business'. Got tired of eating at only one restaurant, (and while real estate shopping), went to J.W. Marriott at Desert Ridge to eat .... Lobby was much more lively. Lots of dining choices here, plus a Starbucks. We ate at the golf course restaurant, which was superb. We did not enjoy our trip and think the Phoenician resort reservationist should've mentioned the above-mentioned dining closings and construction.

Our Phoenician Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/06/08
My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Phoenician! We found it to be a wonderful relaxing getaway place to unwind by the pool. We enjoyed a beautifully landscaped golf course, great food and a paradise location in sunny AZ! What could be better? We only had one negative experience during our stay there. I found their business center to be very poorly managed. Each guest who uses a computer station must agree to pay for internet use over five minutes. This is an understandable practice in trying to prevent guests from staying at a station for a large amount of time. The problem is that there is no logbook or personnel monitoring the time spent on a computer. I actually was approached by one of the business center staff members who wanted me to "estimate" what my time spent on the computer was A DAY PRIOR! How unprofessional! What if the staff member never saw me again during my stay? Or had approached the wrong guest? What if I had stayed two hours as opposed to thirty minutes or vice versa? The staff would clearly be doing a disservice to either me and their own company! When guests are paying for top quality service, it should be nothing less than the best!

WOW This is luxury
By brian, 01/25/08
I stayed at the Phoenician in August of 2007 for a conference. The staff was wonderful. The room was amazing, they were there for anything you may need. The only drawback was that I did not have my car with me and it was a ways to anything in town and the cab rides were quite expensive. Other than that I would say that this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in BY FAR!!!

Must do the afternoon tea!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/12/07
Although it is pricey, I love this hotel for it's amenities, the pools are breathtaking and the restaurants are first class! Absolute must for anyone staying in the Scottsdale area is the tea service in the lobby-it is a amazing experiance-but book ahead and arrive early for the best views.

Top Notch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/07
The room we stayed in was quite large and it over looked the golf course. I had no problem spending hours by the pool, as the amenities and service was outstanding. The gym is well equipt and there is an assortment of yoga classes. They could use a little more selection for dining, as well as the ice cream shop closes to early.
