Exceptional
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/08
Overall facility is exceptional. For the past 10 years, we have frequented this facility and have seen the face lift that occurred during the past 2 years. It still remains quaint and beautiful. The location is tranquil and convenient. I look forward to each year!

I love it!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/04/07
I have the best memories from this place! we have been going there for years! Excellent service, comfortable room and the VIEW!!! The people that work there are professional and helpful. Trust me, being right on the marginal way is an experience you need to have. I would suggest trying to get the cottage that is seperate from the main building....it is a cute and lovely place for famalies or a romantic getaway or just with yourself!! Food is also quite good for breakfast in the morning!

Everything you need - lovely location
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/06
Went in Fall 2004 during scarecrow contest. We love to walk, easily accessible to Marginal Way and Ogunquit shops. Staff was very informative. Bathroom was a bit tiny, though.

A Real Family Vacation!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/03/06
Ogunquit is a beautiful town and should not be missed if you want a real coastal Southern Maine experience. The Beachmere Inn offers the entire package; you can't beat the location, private and quiet yet right in town and directly on the Marginal Way with private beach access. Staying at the Beachmere is like staying with family who happen to have a house on the beach. The rooms we have had included kitchenettes which make family travel much less stressful and less expensive. The large lawn offers plenty of space to walk around, relax and play. Easy access to the beach and town make it convenient to head back to your room for snacks, naps and potty breaks. When you are not at the beach it is always part of your senses, the beautiful crashing waves and smell of the sea air is bound to take away life's stresses. The area "insider information" provided by the friendly staff is like having a personal travel guide.

Can't Wait to Come Back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/15/05
Love the Victorian - right on the Marginal Way! Love the views from the large yard, having a kitchenette, and having a view of the beach and where the river meets the ocean. It's within walking distance of town and shopping. We love the muffins, popcorn, and cider they serve each day - we love it all! The rooms are very clean, and the staff never interrupts your visit. They have packages with local restaurants and lots of information on nearby points of interest. Being only just over one hour north of Boston, it's very easy to get to the hotel, and Ogunquit is a good location for all seasons - we even went to a Christmas bonfire on the beach one year. Very peaceful and romantic!

Great Value!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/26/05
Overall a great value, and would suggest a visit. You do need to take a trolly or drive to the town or beach. Great for families and the amenities were very clean and we had plenty to do.
