Country Hearth Inn Florence, Florence

I stayed here traveling through to visit my grandchildren and for what I paid I was expecting something bad. But instead the young lady that checked me in was so sweet to tell me where to go to eat and stores I was looking for. And the maid even went to look for a coffee pot since the one in my room wasn't working. Even better, in the morning you get a full hot buffet style breakfast. I would have never expected this kind of stay at a motel but I will tell you this, I sure wish I could get his kind of service at some Hotels. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wants nice people, clean rooms and a huge breakfast to get you ready to go the next morning.

I had a little league baseball team staying hear and found out after check in a transvestite convention was staying at the location. When I asked the staff why they booked the two groups the response was "We should understand the group of men were confused but posed no threat to any one". She also said “Wait until the night when they dress up!" She thought it was humorous. The only request I had was a refund for the team for 3 hours of stay so I could move the team to another location and it was denied. We moved anyway and cost these kids $340. The staff also responded these men come to this location at least twice a year. I will never stay in a Country Hearth in any location and encourage anyone I know to do the same.

The rooms were clean, and comfortable. The staff were also very helpful, I plan on staying there in my future trips to the Florence area.
