The Chariot Hotel Louisville, Louisville

We stayed at this hotel and when we checked in the desk clerk, Tommy, was asleep in the chair and we had to yell at him numerous times to get him to wake up. The Manager is never available and when you do get him he is always drunk. The conference room is set up as a playroom and that is where the Manager was partying with the underage kids at the hotel. There are bedbugs in this hotel, which we didn't notice until the morning we were leaving, and the room we stayed in leaked above the bed. We had to scoot to one side and sleep because the lobby is locked after ten and you can't reach anyone to assist you. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life!

I stayed at this hotel and all through the night my child was bitten by some type of bug. I went to the front desk in the morning and told them I thought they had bed bugs and I checked out of the hotel. When I called back they told me it wasn't bed bugs that it was fleas (as if that was any better). There was mold growing up the door frame. I just thought this was an unhealthy place to stay.

For the money this was a great place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We checked in early and the front desk lady was very pleasant. We went downstairs that night and there was a sign that said be back in ten minutes. After about twenty minutes an Asian guy opened the lobby and he was half drunk. We smelled the alcohol on his breath. At this point I was happy that the clerk opened the door because we were wanting to use the computer due to the internet not working. A guest informed us that the internet did not work because of this same man trying to fix something he knows nothing about. To top it off, he closed the lobby 30 minutes before it was supposed to close. We have stayed here numerous times and have never had a problem before. I can't believe that they would put someone so incompetent and careless at the front desk. For future stays we will be calling ahead to make sure the internet is working and that he is no longer employed there before staying.
