The Key Inn, Tustin

it is actually disgusting. the rooms were so small dirty and the shower didn't even work. It is cheap but I would have rather spent 30 extra bucks for a real hotel. the sheets were dirty and I do not even think washed and there were cockraoches. It was disgusting all I can say is run AWAY

I love the place...centrally located. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rates just cant be beat. I've been going there for years and now that I live in Arizona..its the only place I go when back in Orange County. I recommend highly

FOR THE MONEY I SPENT(35.00 AAA RATE) THE INN WAS VERY NICE!! THERE WAS ENOUGH TOWELS, NO SHOWER ISSUES,NO STAFF COMPLAINTS, TOLIETS WORKING JUST FINE, AND VERY QUITE.... AS A SINGLE FEMALE I FELT VERY SAFE STAYING THERE...THIS PLACE WAS CLEANER THAN THE HOTEL ROOM I PAID 100 BUCKS A NIGHT TO STAY AT!! THE FRONT DESK LADIES WERE VERY PLEASENT TO DEAL WITH AND CHECKED ME IN ,IN A TIMELY MANNER....YOU HAVE DENNYS IN THE SAME PARKING LOT AND A VARITY OF FAST FOODS IN THE AREA(INCLUDING STAR BUCKS). THE ONLY THING I WILL SAY IS THAT THE CARPET WAS A BIT DIRTY, BUT OTHER THAN THAT MY OVER-ALL IMPRESSION WAS OUTSTANDING!!

(1) Pro - Althogh it was really close to Interstate 5, room was quiet. (2) Cons - My wife's one-piece cloth and my son's Polo shirt and pants were missing. The staff did NOT do anything but to say that their room service staff don't touch customers' stuff. The carpet was so dirty, we literally worn shoes ALL the time to include right after shower. The washing machines was full of rocks.

This was not my first experience at the Key Inn. On a previous trip to Southern California I stayed at the Key Inn, based on its' relatively close proximity to my work site. During that stay i was somewhat displeased with my stay, and was expecting the same this time around; but upon immediate arrival, i found i was quite mistaken. The hotel has been newly renovated, and the staff was much more helpful this time. I noticed that some changes were definitely being made, the pool was being resurfaced and painting had already been done. I had a more pleasurable experience this time, and know that once this hotel is fully renovated it will be my premier choice in the Orange County area.

The staff made my stay much more enjoyable. They were polite and courteous and very knowledgable. My room was clean and fresh. Housekeeping always had a smile on their face and were always eager to greet me with a hello. On future visits to California and the OC area, i will be staying at the Key Inn.l

In fact, the room was clean at the price, but I would find something else next time. Location, facility, environment, room rate, etc. are below my expection.

I thought this inn/motel was much better than those motel 6 chains I usually stay at. And the prices are comparable or better. Much cleaner (due to renovation) and I could hear people staying in the other rooms much less. Probably coz less people know about this great little find. I would definitely come back to stay here again. Didn't know this inn was a great local accommodation. And I live nearby in Irvine anyways.

If you're going to be in the Orange County area, save your money and stay at this motel. It's close to the freeways, minutes away from all the OC hotspots, and right next door to Denny's.
