Our awful experience

First of all, it was early in the evening when we first arrived and there was a note on the lobby door stating that the manager was out and would return in 15 mins. We decided to go and grab a bite to eat. We returned an hour later and the same note was on the door. We thought we would take a look around and wait a few more minutes. As we were leaving the manager pulled up and asked us to wait as she would be right with us. She let herself into the office and disappeared leaving us standing there. Then we heard yelling and argueing before she returned to the desk. She charged us $70 dollars for a double plus $10 deposit for towels.(if you did'nt pay the $10 deposit you did'nt get towels)not to mention that there was a sign next to the lobby door stating the prices for weeknights and weekend rates . It was a weeknight and the price stated $45 dollars for a dbl. When asked about the price list she quickly removed the sign and said it was way outdated. We were anxious to settle in after a long drive until we entered the room in which we were assigned. The smell was horrid. The bedspread was badly faided and had numerous burn holes in it. Oh, it was a non smoking room at that. Needless to say we immediately asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Also the swimming pool was like a swamp, and there was three buildings, the last building was totally closed and boarded up. Ugly. Unproffessionally run.
