Gone WAY downhill
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/7/07
Turned around and left after opening the door, it's amazing how far downhill this place has gone. There were no towels and everything was dirty and run down. The best way to describe it is to say it is what I imagine one of those rent-by-the-hour places in a bad part of town looks like. I tried to get my card refunded at the office but they all of a sudden couldn't speak English at the desk so I'll be contesting the charge. My cousin lives nearby so I used to stay here periodically when I was in the state but looks like I'll have to find a different place. On this last occasion I ended up driving to Ontario where I had a flight the next day.

Roach Motel
By Hector, 9/16/07
The room seemed clean during the day, but when we got back at night the place was crawling with roaches. We had them in the bathroom and crawling on the bed. Very disgusting. Needless to say we were unable to stay and had to leave. Would not recommend to anyone.

Very Accomidating
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/2/07
I was in the ares for the 2007 Coachella arts and music festival. Every reasonably priced place in palm springs was sold out, even the unreasonably priced places were sold out and I personally wasn't willing to spend and obscene ammount of money for a hotel, say 400 or more a night. So when I found this place still had rooms available and they weren't hiking up their rates just cause there was even in the area I was really suprised. So we get there in the dead of night after a long drive from vegas and they didn't have the double bed I had requested but they did provide us with a roll away bed and extra towels and such even though it was 1am. The facility itself was really nice, the furniture in the rooms left something to be desired but it was clean and the staff was very accomadating to us during our 3 day stay.

would stay there over and over again
By Jessica, 8/24/06
Great value and great location. When we first arrived the mini fridge in our room was out of order, but a call to the office led to a new fridge in minutes. Huge room, nice pool and nice patio off of room. Great views of desert landscape and close to Joshua Tree and Pioneertown, as well as Palm Springs. Not a super deluxe place, but very comfortable, clean and safe. Morning muffins, fruit and coffee were nice as well. We'll stay there again if we can.

They'll be happy to take your money
By gemini, 10/19/05
Just make sure you don't have a complaint. I was treated with the utmost rudeness when I stayed at the Yucca Inn. The moment I had a complaint, the owner was too busy to see me and actually left the premises! He left me standing there waiting while his front desk rep hassled me and threatened to call the police! My toilet clogged at 6:30 a.m. while my 6 year old was waiting to go, the owner's wife told me to walk up to the office (no short jaunt, and 50 degrees outside) and get the plunger to fix the clog myself. When I quipped, she turned her attitude on. Then she promised me 2 nights refund. When I went to check out, the offer was not honored, and I was hassled. I called the owner, and he yelled at me and hung up on me several times! Save your money, this is no professionally run place. All the pictures are models too - you don't get those rooms. Don't be taken.
