Yosemite Inn, Mariposa

Ouch! I just read some of the other reviews, and while it's not a 4 or 5-star hotel, the family who runs the place is extremely helpful and friendly. The accommodations are fine, and I was happy that their wireless was very fast -- hasn't been the case anywhere else. And when you're in the middle of nowhere, that's helpful! Not sure what the other spots in Mariposa are like, but I thought this place was fine. Enjoy Yosemite!

My mom and I were here under the most dire of circumstances. On our way back to civilization from Yosemite, there was a terrible blizzard and our car got a flat tire and we were stranded in the middle of nowhere for five hours. Finally, a California highway patrol found us and brought us to the Yosemite Inn. Needless to say, we were very stressed out, frantic, and strapped for cash (not looking forward to paying for the towing service, new tire, gas for the way back, hotel fees, etc). The folks running the hotel were very accomodating, understanding, and flexible. They allowed us to use their own phones (instead of having to pay 50 cents per min), print using their printer, and gave us special rates based on the circumstances. It certainly soothed our nerves, knowing that the people running the business were operating with a very human veiw, caring for their customers. Also the rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable! :D

This motel exceeded our expectations for the Yosemite National Park Area. The room was clean and staff was very friendly. The drive to and from the park was not too bad. The town of Mariposa was very cute and a great place to stay.

very nice, clean, large, quiet! only 45 minutes away from yosemite park, the price is good! free wifi, breakfast, you could completely refresh youself here and go your adventure to yosemite!

Nice large room. Very clean. Reasonably priced. Comfortable beds. Quiet. New owners have really improved this. Stayed 4 nights in Sept 2010 while visiting Yosemite. Reasonabl close to the park. Took us about 45 min each morning to get to the Valley. We were very happy and will come back.

Very nice and clean hotel for a good price with AAA discount. Very good breakfast including waffles and toast.

The room we stayed in was extremely comfortable, spacious and very, very clean. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful.
