We go there every year

Our car club goes there every year. We have already booked for 2012 (our 9th year). After reading the other reviews I want to mention they have several different types of rooms. They have the cheaper overnight rooms for someplace to sleep and shower, they also have the more romantic rooms with fireplaces, balconies,and great views.Most everything is within walking distance and the family that runs it are really great people

Best place in town

My girlfriend and I had reservations and another location down the road and when we saw there rooms we declined to stay there. We went to the Bluebird and they let us see the rooms first and we loved our stay there. Had a room with fireplace/kitchen and deck out the back which overlooked the creek that runs behind the property. Had a wonderful time!!! Any time we need to "get away" we call the Bluebird FIRST.

A place to lay your head

This is a great place to stay if you just want a comfortable, clean place to sleep and leave your luggage. It's not a destination hotel, by any means. The amenities are adequate. The rooms are clean but spartan. It's quiet at night. If you are a traveler who doesn't spend alot of time in your room, then The Bluebird is a great choice!
