please people, do not give these folks your money. Bugs, filthy rooms and rude workers make this a candidate for one of the worst fleabags in the US

I look forward to a nice room at this hotel when I am in town

The people that work there are wonderfully friendly and imformative. The room is quiet and clean and comfortable.The parking area also is convenient and off the street. I like being close enough to walk down town if I want to.

O'Haire Manor-a Traveler's Perspective

I have always found the O'Haire Manor a quiet, clean and welcoming establishment whenever I travelled through Shelby on the Amtrak. The staff have a vehicle to pick up travelers from the train station, and the tip is optional, but a courtesy one should never forget! This motel is recommended by the ever helpful Amtrak staff, and I, for one, intend to stay at the O'Haire again when I go through Shelby one last time in 2005. My best wishes to the staff of the O'Haire, and many thanks for a warm and comfortable room that has always been clean, and well cared for!
