Nites Inn Motel, Ellensburg

This is a great place to stay if you're just looking for a place to sleep. You don't get a fantastic view or a continental breakfast or anything, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I've stayed in some pretty nasty motels before, so I was a bit skeptical about Nites Inn, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Our room didn't smell like dog or cigarette smoke and the bathroom was nice and clean. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

The bathroom was thilthy. Moldy shower matt and shower walls. The bedding smelled of Dog. Since I am allergic to dogs, I woke up with my allergies in full blossom. The curtains would not close unless you pinned them closed. They gouge you on the pricing. The price was already high for such a dirty room. Then they up the rates for a concert over 50 miles away!!! I can see raising the price for an event in the city, but 50 miles away.....Come on.. I would never stay at this establishment again and I would Never recomend such a price gouging, thilthy establishment to anyone. Worst place EVER...

My husband and I just found this cozy little place and we will definitely stay here every time we are in Ellensburg from here on out. Let me start off by saying that we went to the Super 8 first and their prices were outrageous and the room size was tiny compared to the nites inn. The front desk girl at nites inn was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her while she checked us in. We got a room for a great price considering the amenities provided. There was a coffee pot, microwave, fridge, cable, and free wifi. There was also coffee and delicious muffins in the morning that tasted homemade (in a good way, not in the oops I burned the muffins again type of way). If you are looking for a place to stay that is a home away from home, this is it. The rooms have character. Nites inn is even pet friendly (for a cheaper price than anyone else in town) so next time my husband and I go on vacation we can take our dog who hates being left at home alone.

The front desk staff are outstanding, they are the cream of the crop, the gal that always checks us in goes out of her way to be helpful, she is most outstanding. The rooms are immaculate, they smell heavenly. The grounds are park-like, and the entire area is so quiet. The atmosphere is so pleasant, we always stay there when we are in Ellensburg, even sometimes when we go to Yakima as it is nicer than any there by far. I love it, and anyone who says it is unclean, noisy, or unkind personnel needs an attitude check, because none of that is true. Oh, and they are pet friendly, and the grounds do not have pet poop around, if it does, I would say it was from another dog not staying there. I would recommend this idyllic motel to anyone staying in the area, you will not be sorry.

This place is the worst. We stayed in a non smoking room. However, we feel that a trashy smoke filled dive has a better aroma. The rooms are not exactly what I call clean. The service is terrible. The people were extremely non professional. Housekeeping called us a 9:00 AM to see what time we were checking out. Check out is at 11:00 AM. We had a DND sign on the door and they still had the nerve to call us. There were some dogs in the hotel, dog crap on the grounds. We had to listen to a barking dog part of the night. We asked for a refund due to poor service and they do not "do" refunds so make sure you don't care about service or cleanliness if you stay here because you will get neither. This place is a total joke. I can't beleive it has any good reviews. I'm not super picky and I've stayed in some dumps but this one is by far the worst place I have evern seen. And this is the first bad review I ever wrote so that means it's BAD. I could go on forever about this place. Don't stay here. I would not recommend this to anyone. It's not fit for a cockroach.

I have booked at Nites Inn about 3x per year since grandson is at Central U. Close enough to the school, freeway, many restaurants, shopping, antiques. Quiet every time we've stayed there. - Unless you don't like the a.m. sounds of birds. The staff is always pleasant, on phone and in person. I can't imagine a reason to spend more, for a night or two. (Unless you don't know about the great restaurants for breakfast, and a yummy complimentary muffin won't hold you over?!" I've seen some dust around the corners, NEVER bugs, etc. I have NEVER had a bed that wasn't awesomely comfie and cozy. TV and reception wasn't always so great, but adequate. Thumbs up!

This is where we stay when we make personal trips to Ellensburg. If you are looking for standard business-class accomodations you will be disappointed. If you simply want a clean, comfortable, inexpensive room in a good location near some restaurants and a grocery store, this is where you go. Could be the best-kept secret among travelers to Ellensburg. The crummy reviews are probably people who are accustomed to standard business-trip accomodations (fair enough), or maybe disgruntled former employees or competitors.

I know first hand that one of the housemaids is snobby. she treats others like crap, she snips at them. She also did not clean our room the way it should have been cleaned. she left a soap scum ring around the tub and urine on the toilet seat. The beds are in really bad shape, the box springs are broken i was pretty much rolling out of the bed all night. I also noticed lot of talking with her and the front desk person. The walls were really nasty with what looked like spilled pop. dust was all over the head board and the dresser had nasty dead bugs in it. noise was another problem you could hear the trains and cars all day long. the trees and bushes look really sick and dry. there was garbage near the employees exit door. so do yourself the favor pay the extra few bucks and stay at the best western, great service nice clean rooms and affordable.

We stay here whenever we go to Ellensburg. It has always been clean and comfortable. We try to get a room in the back which eliminates the road noise. For the budget-conscious vacation traveler, this is the best value in town. When we stayed this past June, it was in the high 90's out and the shade from the trees outside our balcony was wonderful and kept the room nice and cool with minimal use of the A/C.

The price is great but cleanliness could be drastically improved. Nice having a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. No pool. Room to park rigs.
