Cabin 18 review
We enjoyed our stay. Our one bedroom cabin was tucked at the back of the property. Our front porch had 2 chairs and a table, wood, and a charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal). The living room had a hide a bed sofa, coffee table, chair, and a fireplace ready to be lit with just one match. The dining room had a table and chairs. The kitchen was well equipped, with lots of dishes, pots and pans, and utensils, as well as a microwave. The cabin decor is a little dated--harvest gold appliances, but it's a cabin!! The bedroom had a queen size bed and a double bed. The bathroom had a bathtub, not just a shower. The whole cabin was very clean. No daily maid service, but you can bring your towels to the office and trade them in for new ones. The cabin was walking distance to Woodland Lake Park and many hiking trails. They will give you a map when you check in. We did a different hike every day. A grocery store was less than a 5 minute drive away. The property itself has horseshoes, a small volleyball court, a playground for kids (we don't have any), and a Jacuzzi that is inside and opens at 3, also very clean. There are larger cabins for family groups, but we didn't see any of those cabins. We will check them out when we return. They also have some cabins with jacuzzis inside ($25 more a night, and we're cheap, so didn't book one). We enjoyed it so much that we booked a cabin for Labor Day weekend as well.
