Last time we stayed here, 10 years ago, this place was legit. The rooms, service, grounds, and management were premium. Fast forward to present day, it is hell. If they think they are going to charge us full price for the service we received, they should have done better. The management appears lazy, rolls her eyes at you, and gives you a king sized RUDE attitude. Management only gave a list of things that didn't work in the room, and when I asked, "Does anything in this place work?" she replied, "Well, tell the owner." Wow. I'm not expecting the Ritz Carlton of Star Valley, but I am expecting decent service for the price. Bottom line: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!
This hotel is located in Star Valley, WY, about 70 miles south of Jackson Hole and the south entrance to Yellowstone National Park. What a wonderful hotel! The rooms are actually individual cabins. From the outside you would think you had stepped into the old west. However, the cabins are also very comfortable with all of the amenities you would expect while traveling. Very clean and comfortable, while also affordable. I highly recommend it!
