It's not the most fancy.....but the service is great, the rooms are clean and the cost is perfect. We plan on coming back to this area in the future, and this is where we will stay over and over again.

Best deal in S.D.

Every one was so friendly, Very clean and More bang for the buck.Easy check in and check out.Close to good eating places.Will be back soon. Great parking for Bikers.

What an AWESOME place!

My family and I spent a weekend in the Black Hills. When we stayed in Hot Springs we stayed at the Budget Host Hills Inn. The service was outstanding. The family running the business was friendly and very reliable. We enjoyed the clean and spotless rooms. The outdoor swimming pool was just what we needed during the sizzling summer weekend. My family enjoyed the miniature golf course that was located right next door. We actually received a discount because we stayed at the Budget Host. My husband is a businessman so the high speed wireless internet connection was exceptional. My family really enjoyed the free continental breakfast every morning. It saved us a lot of money. One of the best things about this hotel was that it is located in the heart of Hot Springs. It is in walking distance of many attractions including the Evans Plunge and Mammoth Site. Right across the street was a Dairy Queen. Great for those hot summer days. That was my wonderful experience in the Budget Host Hills Inn in Hot Spring S.D.

Budget Host: nice folks

While other hotels were charging outrageous rates during the Sturgis Rally, Budget host kept there original rates. Appears a bit run down, but great for kids and families (next door to mini golf and across the street from DQ) and an outdoor heated pool. This is not a chain (as far as I know) and the owners/people who run it are very nice- they gave lots of local advice about places to go and were great with my kids (10 and 12). It was nice to stay somewhere that wasn't being run by high school kids with attitudes working for minimum wage for a large corporation. Hot Springs is a great place off the beaten track for those visiting the Black Hills, Sitting Bull, Custer Park and Mt Rushmore.
