Days Inn and Suites Stevens Point, Stevens Point

The room was so dirty I should have left and go next door. Around the TV it was very dusty. The bed is on a frame that is smaller then the mattress and if you sit on the edge it would almost flip over. Never stayed at such a place

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the earlier reviews, but with such a reasonable rate I couldn't pass up the cheap room. I took a chance and it paid off nicely! I called the hotel directly and they not only matched the rate they had posted online, they gave me a discount on top of it! The furniture in the room is dated, as is much of the hotel, but not any more than any of the other hotels in the area. I stayed at the Ramada Inn previously and I would have to say their rooms are in worse condition than this place. The owner works in the mornings and the Manager works evenings so there is always someone around who can answer any question you might have. Plus, the Manager came down and fixed my bathtub one night. I dare you to find another hotel where the person behind the desk will personally fix and clean your bathtub! All in all a great experience. I highly recommend them to anyone!

We had events going on at the college and it was close, with the right price. However, last year when we stayed there it was under construction, dusty and the bathroom wasn't real clean. We gave them another chance, but not again. This year we stayed two nites and were gone for a majority of the first day. Housekeeping never came, so when we got back late we had to go for towels and toilet paper. We were in the nonsmoking end, but it smelled of smoke, especially when bathroom fan was on. Last year the nonsmoking end was on the opposite end of the motel - you can't change that! Also, the sink was very low, as though it was at one time a handicapped room, and the toilet was old and very stained. There was no shower curtain liner, just a cloth curtain. No screen on the window. Need I say more?

This place was disgusting. The first smell when we walked into the lobby was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke. The manager was friendly. It appeared that he and his wife live at the hotel along with their 2 small children. They were there well into the night and the kids were very loud. Our room was musty smelling - we opened the windows to air it out, but the screen had big holes in it. The bed was hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. The sheets and blanket had cigarette burns in them. The pillows were flat and useless. The shower was gross - caulk needed redoing - shower had had black gunk on it. The internet worked well, just needed to get a code to use it from the front desk, the breakfast was prepackaged muffins, rolls, etc. There were deer in the parking lot in the evening - hotel looks over the Schmeckle Preserve. That was pretty cool. If you just need a place to sleep for a few hours and don't mind being uncomfortable, this may be okay. Just don't expect anything above a 1 * level here.

I was treated very rudely by the manager when I called about being overcharged. turns out I've been overcharged every time I've stayed there by $5-10.

I'VE STAYED AT LOT'S OF HOTES 7 MOTELS IN THE CENTRAL WI. AREA,THE SERVICE BY THE MAID'S AN OVERALL STAFF GREAT. CLEAN, NEAT, AND MY STAY WAS AN EXCELLENT ONE.

Rates are cheap. so is the property. Not well maintained, dirty. Would not generally recomend this place unless you need a budget room, however most of the nearby places will match their rates so check them out first. Stay at a nicer place for the same price if you can.

Very Nice & clean Place for economy hotel king size bed with fridge & microwave, Staff was very friendly & Helpful when we check inn help us carry luggage.I will stay their every time I go to Stevens point.
