Clean and Comfy, but Needs Repair
By Rachel, 4/4/11
We stayed overnight during a drive to the East Coast. First, the bad news: The room (#128) had a faint odor similar to cat urine (although this could simply have been from a cheap industrial cleanser). The bathroom fixtures and tub surround were all delaminating, and there were loose bits of finish falling on the tub floor. The bathroom fan grille was falling off the wall, and the fan was noisy. Half the furniture was falling apart, with the most common problem being kick panels that appeared to have been kicked loose. The free WiFi signal was barely strong enough to be usable. Now the good news: Despite the condition of the accoutrements, the room was, in fact, clean and comfortable (the beds were perfect!), the staff was as polite and helpful as one could ask for and the continental breakfast was lovely. The lobby where breakfast is served has a sunroof, which gives is a cheery, airy feel, even when the weather isn't great. The desk clerk said the hotel was in the process of renovating rooms, so hopefully by the time you give this hotel a try, the room we stayed in will be beautiful.

Gives the Days Inn Reputation a Black Eye
By Lisa, 4/3/11
We've never had a problem with Days Inn Hotels — until this weekend. * After checking in, we realized our heater didn't work at all. So we got a new room, problem solved, right? Well, that was the beginning of our problems. * TV Remote was missing from the new room. Easy fix. * Dirty socks from someone else (not us) were found at the head of our bed when I went to retrieve my phone that had dropped. * Upon retrieving the phone and seeing the dirty socks (from someone else), I noticed that a leg from our bed was missing - and Days Inn used a pair of phone books to prop up the bed. * There were no reliable working outlets to charge my phone. * The shower was leaky. * The continental breakfast was beyond lame. So was the tiny little dining space you had to eat, which was shared by about 20 other people enduring the same conditions you did the night before.

This place sucks!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/10
I traveled here from florida to visit some family members and I was exhausted from the flight when I checked into the hotel the service was bratty and did a terrible job explaining where to go. The first thing i thought when I got there was how hungry I was so before I even went to my room I went to Dino's for dinner. The place smelled bad, service was slow, scary decorations, to many mirrors, and crabby waiters and waitresses. Then I ordered the penne pasta with marinara sauce. I took 3 bites and then I felt sick along with my sister. We payed for our OVERPRICED meal and then left. The hallway was terrifying and dark with temperature changes everywhere you walked. I walked into my hotel room and it was moldy and smelled horrible. The bed had bloodstains and dirt and it was terrible. I left immidiatly and went to the comfort inn which was great and made me feel at home.

OK place to rest my head in Willoughby.
By Janice, 7/3/10
I went to this hotel a few years ago, and admittedly did not have that great of an experience. But i was told it was under new ownership so i figured i would give it a try on one of my visits to that area because it was the only hotel near where i wanted to be that had an outdoor pool and it was incredibly hot that weekend. i was surprised to see that it had indeed changed a lot from what last remembered. It looks like a lot of remodeling has been done, all new carpeting that was clean and comfy to walk on (much different from what i had seen last time). I really like that they have a restaurant right on the property here. Dino's restaurant was really good, i enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk out of my room and dine out. All together it fit my needs quite well.

Never again
By Sherry, 5/24/10
This hotel smelled terrible and our room was disgusting dirty. Rug looked like it had not been vacuumed in weeks, there was mold in and around the tub and toilet. The sheets were dirty. There was wads of gum on the heating unit. The chair was broke. The lighting was terrible. I felt cleaner NOT bathing there! We were suppose to stay there for 3 nights...we checked out after the first night and went to a Marriott! DO NOT STAY AT THIS DAYS INN!!!!

I stay here from 60 to 90 nights a year.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/20/10
For the last 15 or so years, I have stayed at this Days Inn location and have been very satisfied with all they offer. The facility itself has gone through regular and extensive upgrades in both exterior and interior. Any issues I have ever had, have been taken care of. In the Cleveland area, you can't beat this facility at the rate offered.

OK hotel
By Jim Doty, 6/16/07
The room was nice. The location was convenient, right off of I-90 and convenient to Willoughby and Kirtland. The service was fine and the staff friendly. Nice pool. I did not use the on site restaurant.

Will not go back
By M, 6/6/07
Didn't like the mold on the ceiling in the bathrooms--wall paper was falling off; mold around the toilet in the bathroom. Refused to clean room when I had asked them to clean the room. Didn't bring clean towels-had to get my own. We were on a weekly rate and they would not bring us clean towels. Chair in room was not stable and was put back together while we were in the room. Checked out and was charged double for my three night stay. Waiting on credit. Our company will not let our employees stay in this hotel ever again!!!

Will never go back.
By Nancy, 7/28/06
Bathroom was not cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor. Called front desk several times. Finally went to front desk and obtained clean towels myself. Management was resistant to doing anything about the bathroom or towels. Was supossed to be a non-smoking wing. Hallway smelled of smoke and mold. Air conditioner was extremely noisy. Location was good for what I wanted to do.

We WILL be back !!
Great location, right off Rt 90, great price, great value, great service - would have loved to have stayed longer !! If you are looking for a cheap, clean room this is your place. To our surprise there was a refrig AND a microwave right in the room - BONUS AND a continental breakfast is included in the price, you can't beat the price.
