Clean and Comfy, but Needs Repair
We stayed overnight during a drive to the East Coast.
First, the bad news: The room (#128) had a faint odor similar to cat urine (although this could simply have been from a cheap industrial cleanser). The bathroom fixtures and tub surround were all delaminating, and there were loose bits of finish falling on the tub floor. The bathroom fan grille was falling off the wall, and the fan was noisy. Half the furniture was falling apart, with the most common problem being kick panels that appeared to have been kicked loose. The free WiFi signal was barely strong enough to be usable.
Now the good news: Despite the condition of the accoutrements, the room was, in fact, clean and comfortable (the beds were perfect!), the staff was as polite and helpful as one could ask for and the continental breakfast was lovely. The lobby where breakfast is served has a sunroof, which gives is a cheery, airy feel, even when the weather isn't great. The desk clerk said the hotel was in the process of renovating rooms, so hopefully by the time you give this hotel a try, the room we stayed in will be beautiful.
