Countryside Inn, Sealy

Remodeled, fine, except the tub which was my age. As a Truck Driver, the only thing I care about is the tub...and enough hot water to fill it. Sadly, lacking. Sad, because otherwise it's a nice place...BBQ and Mexican restaurants right next door.

My fiancé and I needed a room so he could stay for his work and I came along as it would only be a few weeks... And I have never been so upset! I've been woke up at 4 in the morning by the trains rattling and blowing their horn far more then needed by right behind our room, which do so all day long. We were given a rate over the phone for a week stay, with two animals and tax included, then when we get there they up the price even more when if we would have had enough time the hotel next door was cheaper on us even with having two animals! The laundry room is filthy, doesn't even look as though it had been swept out in who knows how long.. The so called breakfast, honeybuns that they rarely have out, and a few packages of oatmeal that disappear quickly... With tea, way to strong of coffee, cereal with milk, and bread... Not what they explained to us... I could make all that myself if there was a toaster and coffee pot in the room like all other hotels I have stayed in before for longer then a night... There are no available wall outlets to use for cell phone chargers.. The drawers were broken... This is quite terrible, and I've stayed in many hotel rooms!

I love that they have redone all the rooms. They were very clean and the staff were very helpful with information about the area. They have a standard continential breakfast. Including oatmeal, honeybuns, toast and cold ceral along with juice, milk coffee and tea. Will be staying again at this hotel as the prices were the lowest in the area and the rooms were fantastic! Right off the interstate.

The rooms were not only clean, the beds were so comfortable. I will stay again. Staff very friendly and accomadating. the person who wrote the bad review was probably a disgruntled employee.
