By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/28/08
first uninvited bed guests.(roaches)i got 2 rooms, 1 didnt have remotes ,no telephone, no refrigerator, toilet over flowed, dirty tub, floors not clean, table had someone elses left over food on it.2 room sameas the first, except the tub is hand painted and pealing and it would stick to your body.saftey pins on the curtains, mattress didnt fit the bed. lots of people and their children live there, many in one room. junk cars, and men working on there cars out side your rooms, and foul mouth children, with no adult supervision.little kids in the hallways with no clothes on.gross, gross ,gross.

HORRIBLE !!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/05/07
This place was horrible, they didn't have the room we were supposed to get and after 30 minutes they found us a room. It didn't have a microwave, refrigerator, ice bucket, cups, coffee maker, kleenex, washcloths, hairdryer, or anything. The deadbolt didn't work and the inside safety latch had the hole drilled but hadn't been installed. The lock on the sliding glass doors to the outside didn't have a working latch. They came knocking on the door to see if it was occupied or not. We were told if they could find a microwave they would rent it to us. Got an ice bucket from housekeeping and got 12 pieces of ice, we asked about another ice machine and they said the one we had previously found was the only one and it did not work well. After an hour we finally got cups. We propped a chair under the handle of the door for safety and around 11:30pm someone tried to get in, and about two minutes later this man was banging on the sliding glass doors after several times my husband looked out the curtain and he said "are you staying in this room?? Did you pay for it??" He was angry apparently they had rented our room out again and if I hadn't put the chair in front of the door he would have come right in. We then called the front desk and asked for a room with locks, they said they could move us but the room would not have a king bed. At this point we were concerned about safety and took the change. We moved upstairs and this was a major inconvenience in the middle of the night. This room was just as bad, no working deadbolt, tv didn't come in, bed was not made, no pillowcases, went to call the front desk, phone was not even hooked up, and there was no way to hook it up. We then called the front desk and said we just wanted our money back and we were leaving. The girl talked to the manager where I could hear it and she was told no refund, So then I asked to talk to the manager and was told no and then she said I am very busy and don't have time to deal with you now. We left immediately.

Deplorable ...
By Pony, 07/20/07
We were assigned to stay here during the State FFA Convention 2007 (July 7-13) as per Convention Housing policy. We had 8 rooms for the entire stay. Two times during our stay, the staff rented out one of our rooms (we were required to pay the entire amount ... UP FRONT) so, there should have been no doubt as to the room availability. Upon checkin, our room had partial roll of toilet paper and no extra available; no kleenex; only one mirror in the tub area; only one trash can available; no toiletries in the room or available; no hair dryer, iron or ironing board; no phone, no phonebook and NO TV. Hallways were not secure from vagrants or the environment as they either had NO exit door or a door that would not lock. Mosquitos, fleas and roaches were abundant in the ROOMS. Condition of property was horrible; however, kudos to the staff for trying so hard to accomdate us. 500 words can not describe the conditions we endured at the bargain price of $94.00 per night. Only stay here if you like being charged an insanely high price to basically go camping.

Accepts Pets with Basic Accommodation
By Dean & Lynn, 06/28/06
The main reason we stayed here was they allowed pets at no additional charge. The price was acceptable for the area. The rooms were not ready for a white glove test, and could use a bit of paint, but everything was fully functional and the shower had plenty of hot water. I wish I hadn't felt so many springs in the mattress. If you have a pet and not looking for a long term stay I would recommend this hotel. Added bonus, the restaurant next door serves breakfast, lunch and dinner; providing wonderful service and value for money ... be sure to check it out.

I don't advise staying here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/11/06
The room that we were to check in to was still dirty when they gave us a key, they gave us a new room that smelled VERY MILDEWED, was dirty with toenail clippings on the floor, one bed was made with dirty sheets, literally. I made the manager come and look at the room and the sheets and she was very apologetic, changed the sheets but not the blankets that had holes in them and the bedspred that had yellowed stains all over it. The pool water was green, I didn't bother looking at the hot tub. There was trash all over the parking lot and all around the hotel sidewalks. If there had been another room in town that was available, we would have gotten it. They need to double check rooms when their housekeepers say that they have "cleaned" them. We have traveled many places and this was by far THE WORST, DIRTIEST hotel we have ever been to.

Awesome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/26/06
The check-in staff was very helpful and friendly, though housekeepers were not all that they were helpful. Management needs to raise check-in staff's pay. =)
