Read this review! Do not stay here!

First, I'd like to mention that I'm not some high-class individual that would expect the best when renting a hotel room 60-100 bucks a night. This room was rented through Priceline at $260 for two nights stay. Upon arriving, we walked into a musty, cigarette smelling, tiny hotel room with matted old carpet located in the attic of the hotel. It was completely outdated, with dirty walls, and looked nothing like the virtual room advertised on the Econolodge site.
We immediately informed management that we were completely dissatisfied and requested a refund. I was instructed to contact and explain my concerns to Priceline. After a long process of calling Priceline long-distance and being disconnected, I finally managed to talk to an actual person in customer relations. This individual contacted the Hotel and then informed that I would only be refunded for Saturday night. They said that it would be too late to rent the room out as they had noone to clean it. I explained to the manager that we hadn't used anything and that the hotel needed cleaned before we were even there. I explained to the Hotel manager that there were other rooms available here which dis-credited any argument why I would not be refunded both nights. We decided to take a loss and contacted Rocky Water Motor Inn where we had a wonderful room our last visit in the Smokies.
We were given a large room complete with real high-speed internet, 2 queen beds, modern decor, clean carpets, microwave, refrigerator, and I was able to walk around bare-footed. Every room of Rocky Water Motor Inn comes complete with balcony with a wonderful view of a river. No Comparison!
In addition, the manager at Rocky Water Motor Inn gave us a frequent visit discount to off-set the hard-earned money that Priceline and Econolodge had stolen from us. Pay attention! Trust me! Do not book through Priceline and do not rent a room with this Econolodge. They may shove you in the same attic.
