It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at Sweethoteldeals. Net They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

I was actually surprised how clean, inexpensive and convenient this motel turned out to be... at first... BUT after extending to a three night stay I realized the bad reviews are not unwarranted. On the 3rd night and after 11 pm two people entered my door with a card key-- notifying the front desk it was apparent they had no idea I was occupying the room, and questioned me as if it was my responsibility for the mix up. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. Don't bring valuable items with you if you must stay here.

We booked 2 rooms in this hotel which I would not even rate as a 1 star hotel. This hotel is only worth a bought 1/2 what we paid for it. The hotel is very lacking in maintenance, and cleanliness, and is very noisy. How ever the hotel is located very close to Worlds of fun and area casinos, and offers FREE long distance on the in room phone. Here is my summery of this hotel. The good: Free long distance in rooms, very close to worlds of fun and area casinos, easy access from highway, close to a gas station, free internet access even though its slow, free parking. The BAD: ROOMS: were lacking in maintenance; 1 room had a hole in wall and a leaky faucet, other room had a leaky flapper valve in toilet and stat did not work on the ac, in both rooms the tub drained very slow. unclean; both rooms had mold/mildew in showers and around ac in 1 room, dirt/dust and trash under beds and behind night stand and dressers, carpets needed shampooed badly. The beds were like sleeping on lumpy boards they were that hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. The wireless internet access is very slow. Walls are paper thin you can hear every thing that goes on in the next room. Rooms had a strange oder so bad I went out and bought air fresheners. STAFF: was very unhelpful and gave the appearance of being unhappy, We requested room change after we checked in and saw the rooms, and were told it could not be done due to our booking. We then requested the rooms be re-cleaned and were told it would be done which it wasn't, When i asked the front desk a bought this they stated housekeeping had already gone home so there was nothing they could do. We asked for info on worlds of fun and were told they dont provide that info to call them. Hotel did nothing when we complained a bought noise. Room next door had a party we called front desk between 12:30 and 1:00 am to complain and they did nothing to quiet them down. I recalled a bought 30 min later and demanded the front desk to handle it or I would. The party did quiet down some after that. We got very little sleep that night due to the party, people coming and going, and the beds. Main Lobby; Was a bit cleaner then the rooms were but you could still see some dirt and dust along the walls by the floor, it needed repainted badly, and carpet was badly wore. The Free coffee that they offered was only luke warm and very bitter. OUTSIDE; there was some trash in parking lot and in bushes not alot but enough that you could see it with out hunting for it, paint was faded and pealing in places, and needed a good wash job, parking lot needed some repair as well. To sum things up: This was not a fun stay what so ever, as you tell. I would not recommend this hotel to any one, for the reasons i have listed above. This hotel is being let go and is showing the signs of lack of maintenance, and is getting run down. The staff a pears to be unhappy, which may be part of the problem I can't say for sure that is the problem. If you feel you can deal with the lack of maintenance, unfriendly staff, uncleanliness, and uncomfortable beds then this hotel will be just fine for you. How ever if your like me and want a bit better hotel to stay in then I would look elsewhere, I know we will be.

the staff is really friendly and american for a change. the room I stay was clean if you don't look too closely but do not book a room with a shared door you ll hear everything the guys next door is doing, and I mean everything including sighing. the other drawback was the internet, it is not free. otherwise is a good deal.

I booked 2 double rooms for 2 nights recently. There was hair in the shower and on the ceiling of the shower, condoms and Barry White music in the drawer, leak stains on the ceiling, the air/heat could not keep the room cool (in April), the beds had a funny odor, the room had no ice bucket and the light over the sink did not work. That was just the room I stayed in. The other room's shower sprayed out the back of the shower head, had leak stains on the ceiling, the light next to the bed was almost impossible to turn on and the light next to the door did not work. My family has stayed there many times and have never ran into this kind of poor service. I am writing this in hopes it can all be rectified as I would like to be comfortable enough to stay there again. I had noticed a decline in April, 2007 when we stayed there, but thought it was a fluke. It has clearly deteriorated and needs some serious attention!

The staff is excellent. Toni, front desk clerk, was very helpful in making our reservation for our long weekend getaway. We were pleased with the room rates. Check in was a breeze and our room was great. When we had car trouble the staff quickly found the nearest place to get assistance. The facility is clean, comfortable and quiet. It is easy to get to. It is close to Worlds of Fun and several casinos. It does not have a restaurant but there are places to eat nearby. This is not a FANCY hotel but we will definitely stay here again.

Best hotel i've stayed at and very clean kinda small but still good. It is very fresh and nver hot. the bathroom is small and clean and the beds are reallly comfortable and u have a great view of world's of fun. IT WAS AN EXELLENT HOTEL
