Hillbilly Inn Restaurant, Branson

The restaurant bar and hotel have new owners who have improved everything. The food in the restrautant is excellent, and both the inn and bar and grill have been cleaned extensively. It's one of the cheapest in Branson and really good. I will come back many times

This was told to me by someone I knew that they love this place and its good for the price. We got there and looked at it and was not empressed. It looks old, the beds where like boards and flat pillows. It smelled old and the pool was pretty sad too. We even ate at the restaurant and yes if you are that hillbilly type you probably would like this. We have been back to Branson every year but NEVER went back to the this hotel or restaurant. I would NOT recommend this place. We have since been back 3 other times and all the Hotels since then where 100 % better then the Hillbilly Inn. We have not visted even the Restaurant....yuck!

While the facility is not glamorous the accommodations are adequate, service is friendly, and located right on the strip. The price is right! I plan to return to Hillbilly Inn for my next trip to Branson because I will save more money to spend on local entertainment.

This was the most affordable place you could hope to find. The rooms werelarge and clean and the cable was very clear. I enjoyed staying here very much.

We stayed here because of the advertised location, restaurant and family suites. It is on Hwy 76 but on the far east end. Their restaurant was closed for renovation, which we were not told until after we checked in. Front desk closes in the evening and doesn't reopen until mid morning - after the shows start. Good - Family suites are in the back of the hotel where there are only a few guest parking spots close by - bad - to load and unload elders and children. Then it is up a few steps and back down a step to get to your room. Room smelt strongly of deordorizer everyday. We bought and used Fabreze to offset the smell. No A/C in back room of family suite.

In branson it all about location, location, location, because of traffic,traffic,traffic. Hill Billy in is located close to HY 65 and near the best short cuts to all the shows. They have a great reasturant and two lounges in one. One half of the lounge has live music and a dance floor and on the other side you can be the star and do the singing. Great value for the dollar, lowest drink prices in town. freindly staff, clean rooms. Try it you won't stay anywhere else when you go back to Branson.

Of course over the years this place has changed hands many times but overall I liked it because the staff made me feel at home and the price was right. Yes it needs some maintenance but then what hotel doesnt need maintenance in Branson. This place is very old and has allot of wear and tear. Where else can you 7 people stay in a 2 room suite for the minimum price that they charge? It is close to all the shows and some fine dining.

This place charged my credit card for a chair they said we broke. I didn't know about the charge until I received my bill a month later. We did not break a chair. They said the chair cost over $300 but did me a favor by only charging my card for $40. In my opinion, the two chairs in our room were not worth $40 put together.

The price was great and the location was about as you can get when you consider the distance from one show to another. Guests can get free coffee from coffee shop for their rooms. Walls of rooms are rather transparent - better talk & do other things rather low, but, we spent very little time in our room other than sleeping. Will go again, can't beat the price.

the price is really good the people that work there was nice and it was always clean we plan on coming back in November to see the lights .
