Don;t know if I will retirn
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/09
staff was nice but bed was hard, bathroom very small, bugs were on bathroom ceiling and in window s. Breakfast was okay. Didn't serve breakfast until 9am. Very small pool. Place is pretty but for $225 nightly I expected more. I was overall not happy.

We'll be back soon!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/08
This was truely a Quality B&B Surprise! The staff was very courteous, Morning Breakfast served daily inside on white linen tables overlooking the park- a different hot entree each morning along with cereals, bagels, sweetrolls, juices and coffee etc...freshly baked goods were set out to enjoy...very secluded & clean swimming pool area, our room was very comfortable and charming! Common areas of this B&B were perfect for reading, visit/game playing and hosts a beautiful fireplace(s) with a working player piano! Step outside and you're right on the edge of all that is happening on Butler St. We were very pleased indeed. We'll be back soon!

I have very high standards when it comes to hotels, and I must say The Maplewood took my breathe away. This cunny B&B is so beautiful and historic I can't even explain. It is in the heart of downtown which made my stay even better. The staff were so kind and helpful, they catered to my every need and made it simple to fully indulge in my vacation.

Worth every penny
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/30/06
This hotel is beautifully decorated, each room is warm and inviting as though it were your own, not generic and stale. The staff friendly and welcoming. Centrally located in the heart of Saugatuck, made walking to waterfront, restaurants and art galleries an ease. You certainly get what you paid for and the Maplewood Hotel is treasure.
