Markham House Suites, Little Rock

My niece and I spent one night with you and stayed in room 116. The lady at the desk was delightful. She told us all about the shuttle service, about places to eat, and about the medical discount. My brother is a patient at St Vincent Hospital on the 6th floor. It was just wonderful being able to use the shuttle service. It took us to the Faded Rose to eat on Thursday night - it was raining and gloomy outside - but the driver took us to the front door. The service is so dependable and the drivers so helpful. We are so impressed with the entire service. Also, the continental breakfast was really good. If we come back to Little Rock, we will definitely make reservations at Markham House Suites. Annie L. We stayed at Markham House Suites for almost three months, due to cancer treatment at the Myeloma Institute. While it was very hard being away from home this long, staying here made it so much easier. We feel very fortunate to have chosen Markham House for our first visit here, not knowing anything about Little Rock. We have nothing but praise for everyone and everything at Markham House. The staff is an absolutely amazing group of people. Always pleasant and willing to do whatever it takes, within their power, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The comfortable, pleasantly furnished rooms and suites are kept very clean. So are the grounds, office, laundry room, fitness center, breakfast room, everything! Something we think is really wonderful....it is a smoke free environment!! The free Continental breakfast has a huge variety of fresh, healthy choices, there are internet connections in every room and they have an extremely comfortable, 10 passenger shuttle van to take you back and forth to the hospital, grocery shopping, mall, movie theatre, restaurants, any place within a five mile radius, which there are many choices. We haven't had to move our car since we've been here (although we have started our car once a week, for the sake of the battery life). They even had a Christmas dinner (free) for all of the guests! This is such a warm, friendly, clean place to stay. You are treated special by everyone and they are very sincere. They truly care about us. I don't think you could find a nicer group of people anywhere. What has been a terrifying time in our life, due to cancer, staying at Markham House has made it a positive experience. The friendly, smiling faces of these wonderful people has certianly been very uplifting. This is a wonderful home-away-from-home!! We will definitely stay here again, every time we come back to Little Rock. Any place else is out of the question. Chris and Susan
