Days Inn Suites, Tuscaloosa

I made a reservation for a single king room at the Days Inn in Tuscaloosa, AL. Realizing I had made a mistake in the reservation I called the reservation toll-free number and was told that they could make a new reservation but I would have to contact the hotel directly to cancel the original one. I called the hotel and was told that not only could I not cancel the original reservation but that I could not even cancel the new one either. I called the reservation # back and was told that I couldn't cancel either one. They then offered to transfer my call to someone "higher up" in customer service who might could help. Instead, I was tranferred back to the hotel where the representative with a very poor attitude told me that she already talked to me and that I needed to talk to reservations. In short, they took my money and was completely unwilling to grant me any consideration whatsoever. And they failed to mention that the second reservation could not be canceled until after it was too late. This was the last $114 I will EVER spend with Days Inn.
