Gadsden Inn & Suites, Gadsden

When I first inquired about this hotel and read the reviews, I thought wow, this is a real gem to find. Let me tell everyone, this place is old, it stinks, it has no Wifi, only a very short cable that barley gives enough room to type on your laptop. The beds are old and outdated matresses, old curtains and old bed dressings. How difficult is to update their bedding and amenities? If you look at all the other reviews , you wlll see they are outdated. This hotel, motel or whatever you call it was built in the low 1980"s. Their prices are way over what they should be charging. If you stay for any length of time, they will give you a slight break in the daily rate, but will only clean your room once a week. If it were not for a have to case I would have never stayed there and will never stay there again. Do yourself a favor and stay at a newer hotel , where they understand the needs of a todays traveler.

Clean room with a whirlpool tub. Internet service but you had to get a line from the front desk. The pool was a little cool but the kids still enjoyed it. The breakfast made the stay even cheaper- waffles, biscuits and gravy, bagels, fruit, toast and eggs and sausage. A little hard to find the entrance-I kept going the wrong way until I got used to it. We will stay there again when we are in town.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff. Cool pool. We enjoy the whirlpool in our room. We have recommended this place to family and friends.

A great place. Older, but very very clean and in good repair (thought it had just been remodeled but was told the owners just like to keep it nice). Good breakfast especially the biscuits and gravy! Friendly staff.

Located hotel via the internet and booked 6 rooms. Every staff person I talked to over 2 days to complete and verify all the bookings were courteous and very helpful. In all 6 rooms, everything worked properly, clean, and presentable. Property was clean, well kept, and staff were friendly and courteous. Their high speed internet connection was hassle free. Be sure to bring your ethernet cable. Just plug in and start your browser. Location is within one mile of a handful of national fast food and family restaurants, and just over a mile from the mall. Great Mexican restaurant within 100 feet. The river view from the patio was nice. Room rates were very reasonable. Everyone in my group agreed that we should stay here everytime we travel to Gadsden.

My husband's job transferred him to the area. The company put him up in a suite. It was very nice , clean and comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. It had everything he needed . His stay there was several weeks. I came up on weekends to house hunt. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. I would definitely recommend it.

Read My List... After settling in and all seemed well, I found that my room wasn't all it had been cracked up to be. Random selection maybe, but they didn't have a full house that night. This should have been the last room rented. I hope the other standard rooms aren't like this: No internet (wireless or otherwise), no fridge or microwave, no shampoo, conditioner or even a blowdryer, no facial tissue or even a place to put it, no laundry bag, one pack of coffee, the dressing area isn't private, no lock on bathroom, nor chain on the door, and the room stinks. They'll never get a franchise to accept them, but the rate is cheap, they're very old school red blooded americans (pencil & paper accounting), and I guess that's what we're often looking for when we walk into a lobby. We just take our chances on which room we're stuck in. Maybe I seemed too similar to guy who checked me in, and he felt as if I was a pushover. That's what I get for being nice and humble. We have stayed at the hotel for the last 2 4th of July. This year I waited to the last minute to secure rooms for myself, 3 other adults and a baby. The staff was wonderful they found us two rooms together and may sure that we had a fridge and a microwave to storage and the baby's milk and food. I aslo had a chance to enjoy the pool which the cleaniest pool I had ever been in. I will always stay at this location.

Very well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good. Will stay there next time in Gadsden. The motel was very quite and the gymn had several of the machines that make exercising enjoyable.

Recently stayed an evening, nice room, staff was very friendly and helpful. Was not familiar with the area, desk lady was very helpful. Nice breakfast, free B'ham paper was also a nice touch.
