Sleazy and noisy, with a maid who lifts electronics
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/03/05
The hotel (a former Holiday Inn) is poorly kept up, with broken beer bottles and other glass as well as litter all over the edges of the property. The room I was in showed signs of routine maintenance being neglected. The Continental breakfast is minimalistic in the extreme -- doughnuts, coffee, and tiny juice containers. The clientel was noisy very late into the night, making it difficult to sleep. To make matters worse the maid stole every piece of electronic equipment I left in the room -- not much of value, a cheap cd player and two phone chargers. But the staff intimated that they were not surprised that the maid stole things on her rounds. Stay away from this sleazy place.

It was fine

I don't know what some of these other people are talking about this place was pretty good, it was clean, the service was nice, and it can save you some money. I liked the place and I wouldn't mind going back there

What a pit!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/28/05
This "hotel" is located in an unsavory part of Savannah....I felt like driving my car into the room just to make sure it would be there in the morning. Very noisy outside, sheets damp, carpet musty. Unidentifiable marks on sheets and blankets. The breakfast bar, touted as the "best in town" was greasy and disgusting. Claims to have exercise room on site, but really 20 minutes away. I would only stay here again if every other hotel in Augusta (and western Georgia and eastern South Carolina) was burned down.

Never go to this location.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/31/05
I had a extremly bad experence at this location. We had to change rooms three times. The first room, the hot water was not working, the secound room had blood on blankets and condom wrapers on floor under bed, the third room had finger nalls in the dresser drawer, and the floor was wet near sink. All the rooms we had to keep our shoes on because our socks turned black.
