By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/08/08

Will never go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/08
They were remodelling and never told us upon making reservations. When I asked for Ice and cups for the room they told me to go to 7/11 next door and buy some. After returning from a day in DC our room door was propped open for anyone to go into. When I asked why, he told me they did that to all the rooms so they could fix the threshold. I have neen to a lot of Hotels and this is by far the worst ever.

HORRIBLE
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/21/07
I was coming from out of the area and went with the Ramada name BUT when we arrived late at night to the hotel you could tell right away this was in a bad and unsafe neighborhood. There was no parking left in their very small parking lot and when asked where to park they suggested I go to the next block over and see if I can park at the 7/11-that was an experience in itself. No one spoke english and it was pretty frightful. Basically parking at the 7/11 was a no go. SO I went back to the hotel and asked where they suggest I park, when I saw the very thick bullet proof glass I decided we could not stay here. The man behind the glass wouldn't even open it to speak with us-that tells you something right there. Their suggestion was for us to go find a meter to park at. I almost started laughing, at midnight in the wrong neighborhood I didn't think finding a meter and walking back to the hotel was the smartest or safest idea. Knowing that all other hotels in the area were booked I STILL opted to not stay at this hotel. Sleeping in the Courtyard Marriott lobby sounded better and safer to us then this hotel. SO we left and they were not to charge us for the room. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel, it is in a unsafe area and the customer service was horrible.

Motel masquerading as a Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/06
I wasn't familiar with the area, but went with the Ramada name and reputation. The check-in and check-out was fair enough. I raised my eyebrow when I saw the bullet-proof glass. Only 1 of 2 elevators worked. The bathroom had hot water. The towels were flimsy, scratchy and had the ordor of cheap bleach. The carpet was dirty...I walked in my socks and they were black. The bathroom floor covering was cheap linoleum and it looked like it was left over special. No decor. The room looked cleaned but didn't smell clean. The local Chinese/Pizzerias delivered food. The linen did not stay on the bed the entire night...I inspected and prayed no bugs were in the bed. My overall impression was this Ramada was a cheap motel used for one night stands.
