BEST WESTERN Harrisonburg Inn, Harrisonburg

Cons: I did not like having to wait for check-in (an older lady on the phone). She could have placed the customer on the line on hold - just enough to check me in or call them back. Instead she kept talking and talking about all the features the hotel had. Blah, Blah for 2-3 minutes. Meanwhile, customers who are tired are standing around listening to her yammering. Seriously? Plus: In room fridge was a huge bonus, the breakfast was decent, and the room was clean. Check out Lady was much faster, no wait time, and polite.

This motel is great. It was clean,comfy,and it has mountains all around you even though it is in the city. Its still quite and has restarants and stores around you for convience. The only reason I didn't give it 5 bars for value was because when we stayed there in May the rates had been doubled because of the JMU graduation. So I'm not sure what the normal price is. I will go back and stay here again. I was surprised that they had a heated indoor pool and hot tub. A Denny's in the same parking lot so all you'd have to do is walk nextdoor. They have a microwave, small fridge, cable tv. It's real nice. My kids loved it and so did me and my husband. I will return...Hope this helps.
