Went as part of a living social deal. What a mistake. The interaction in attempting to book a room was horrendous. I don't think I've gotten such rude emails in my life. After finally getting a room it turns out was probably better off without. No air conditioning. Window didn't open up fully. Small room with a full sized bed. Left before the sun went down. Visit at your own risk.
While I have never stayed at the Nu Wray Inn I can attest to excellent meals over a number of years at the Inn. Quality has always been important, obviously, service very "genteel" mountain style and the overall result was excellent.
If this inn was priced by quality it would cost 1,000,000,000 dollars fora room. The location is so beautiful. The beauty was enhanced by the snow that fell during my stay.
